Location on first floor was very convenient to pool and beach. The condo was very comfortable and was geared to relaxation. the view from the room was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will come back.
The property was exactly as listed, beautiful view, wonderful rooms and accommodations! The beach rental process was easy (we rented bikes and beach chairs). The keyless entry to the house and pool were convenient. You cant beat the location but the property was just as fantastic. Thank you!
Great location, nicely appointed, comfy beds. We will come again. However the pool was closed for two days which was a huge issue due to disabled friend thatbwaa counting on it. Elevator was down for two days aa well and property manager never responded to our messages. That said we liked the condo itself and the beach. Pickle ball was wait list only so be sure or make reservations well in advance. Lots of good play
The condo is so tastefully updated and gorgeous. It was spotless. Just know that on the first floor you are right over the parking garageâŠso we stayed in February and the floors were freezing cold⊠not one rug in the whole place so we had to put a towel path in master bath. Wore our shoes through the rest of the unit.
Also, no oneâs fault, but the unit directly above us was ripping out and installing new flooring so the noise was unbearable for a couple days. They were respectful of mornings though and didnât start drilling until 9:30. As I said, no oneâs fault just our luck lol.
We would be happy to stay in this gorgeous unit again in the warmer months.
After paying a premium price for this property as compared to similar properties, immediately upon arrival we were greeted with a very musty smell. That by itself would be a reason not to stay here, however the biggest reason to avoid this property, is the host. One day into our stay, island officials warned to expect "catastrophic flooding" as a hurricane was determined to be heading toward Hilton Head. While we debated on whether or not we should leave, we received an emergency alert to our phones, warning of an impending storm surge. For the safety of our family and our vehicle, we made the decision to leave. We were aware that we'd likely not receive a refund, but the host (against the property management company's request) refused to allow us to use our paid funds, as a credit toward a future stay, essentially stealing thousands of dollars from a hardworking family. There are great options for rentals all over Hilton Head, use one of them.
The unit was in a great building. Close to the ocean and pool. The beaches were beautiful. Easy to ride your bikes everywhere. The unit needs updating. The bathrooms are older and the furniture is old and worn. Pictures made it look much newer. Kitchen utensils were old also.
This property was an excellent location if you love the beach! Beautiful ocean views & a very short walk to beach which was amazing for walks, biking & just sitting & enjoying. The villa kitchen was well stocked with dishes & cookware. You do need to provide your own spices & condiments. There are grocery stores in the area. We did enjoy using the grills in the pool area for our evening meals. The platform deck neat the pool area was great for viewing the beach/sunrises. Would definitely return to this property.
We enjoyed our stay but had a few issues including a broken toilet and broken freezer drawer that would not open. The management company was responsive but it was unfortunate no one reported these issues prior to our arrival and stay.
We had a great experience at this Hampton Place property in Palmetto Dunes. The condo had a beautiful view and was in close proximity to the beach and other fun HHI attractions.
