Welcome to your ideal Northwoods getaway — a freshly updated lakefront cabin on the shores of Catfish Lake, part of the world’s largest chain of lakes in Eagle River, WI. With flat, sandy frontage, direct lake access, and stunning lake views, this cozy and comfortable retreat is an ideal escape for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Spend sunny days swimming, paddling, grilling, and playing yard games, or simply relax and take in the peaceful setting.

During the warmer months, the cottage offers a variety of activities for guests to enjoy. With a private dock and easy lake access, you can swim or take advantage of the kayak and paddle boat available for guest use. The shared patio offers comfortable seating and beautiful lake views, making it a perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset dinners. There’s also a shared fire pit and a grassy lawn for additional relaxation or play. For those who enjoy outdoor cooking, a gas grill is provided.

Inside the cabin, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook and dine in comfort. The living area is cozy and inviting, with windows that overlooks the lake, allowing natural light to fill the space. There’s a dining table that is perfect for board games and indoor activities, ensuring a fun experience for everyone.

While the cabin is perfect for spring, summer, and fall, it is just as inviting during the cooler months. The nearby Nicolet National Forest offers beautiful hiking opportunities year-round, along with vibrant fall colors and peaceful winter scenery. Snowmobile and ATV trails are easily accessible, and ice fishing is a popular activity on Catfish Lake once it freezes over. After a crisp day outdoors, you can cozy up inside and enjoy the quiet, natural beauty of the Northwoods in any season.

Located just minutes from downtown Eagle River, this cottage is close to restaurants, shops, and coffee spots. You’ll also find local breweries, ice cream stands, and seasonal festivals, including farmers markets and live music. Boat rentals and supplies are available at the nearby marina, ensuring you have everything you need to make the most of your time on the water.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Dock details: This is a private dock located 10 yards from the cottage. This lake is great for swimming right across from a sand bar!
The Vilas co boat launch is Located at the end of Braywood Lane, off of Catfish Lake Road. The transition, to the boarding dock, is not ADA accessible.




Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
