Newly renovated home and GREAT for a family vacation to create some wonderful memories. Driveway, 47 feet long, is large enough for boat parking.
The property is located in a family friendly neighborhood with a private beach used only by the neighborhood residents and guests . The park area features a picnic area, full basketball court, playground equipment, fishing, beautiful views of Lake Erie and it's just one small block away for your enjoyment. Enjoy a relaxing evening around the fire ring!

* Disclosure : The beach has sand on land, but is a rocky entrance into the water, the lake levels have washed the sand away. If children enter the water, we highly recommend water shoes. The public sandy beach is less than 2 miles away if you desire called NickelPlate, ($6 for parking).

The porch out back is equipped with a brand new 2024 four burner gas grill (propane tank provided) and an outdoor patio set with seating for 6.

Inside the home, you will find a cozy kitchen with dishwasher, electric cook top/oven and side by side refrigerator. The kitchen is also equipped with a blender, toaster, 12 cup coffee pot (filters provided), and a Keurig Coffee station with starter pods. Pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, glasses, coffee mugs and place settings.

1G speed fiber internet throughout the home with UNLIMITED data. LED smart TV in the living room available for your streaming pleasure. Washer & Dryer available with detergent and dryer sheets for your use.

For the gorgeous evenings, there is an outdoor fire pit ready for s'mores. S'mores sticks are also in the kitchen waiting your marshmallows.

We will provide you with a keypad code prior to your stay, so you are welcome to arrive anytime after 4 PM on the day of your check-in.

This is a 2 bedroom home with a loft that contains 2 twin mattresses. We do not take liability for use of the loft and it is at your discretion. Loft is not suitable for small children since it requires use of a ladder for access.

15 minutes from Cedar Point, 5 minutes from Sports Force, 10 minutes to Kalahari and other Indoor Water Parks, minutes to golf courses, marinas and downtown Sandusky.

Cedar point vacation

House was described, clean and very nice. Kids loved the loft bedroom. Plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 furbabies. Owner was very nice and replied back promptly anytime i had a question. Very close to everything. Will definitely be back

Cute place

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty enough space to accommodate my husband and I with 3 kids. The house was very clean, bathroom had enough towels for us all as we stayed 3 nights. Only a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point. Next time we go to Cedar point, we will stay here again.

Lovely cozy cottage

Family of 4 adults stay. Cottage fit all our needs and then some. Near Huron Pier, Kelly’s Island Ferry, and Sandusky activities. Quick walk to small but nice Rye Beach. Marcie very responsive and accommodating.

Great spot for a day at Cedar Point

A very well appointed cottage. Easily fit our 6 family members. Owner clearly had a vision for this property and made it happen. Close enough to Cedar Point/Sports Force/Fabens Park to make it an easy, short trip (less than 15 minutes) and far enough to avoid the masses. Owner is accessible and personable.

Perfectly Cozy!

We loved staying at Cozy Cottage for the weekend. It's exactly as the photos portray - super cute and very clean. Marcy the host was very attentive in making sure our stay was as we had hoped. The cottage had everything we needed and we loved having breakfast on the porch. Having a nice driveway space to park was really great. It's a super quick walk to Rye Beach and we enjoyed driving in to downtown Sandusky. Next time we come, we'll be bringing our kayaks for sure! Thank you, Marcy, for this wonderful house and for being a 5-star host.

Super Cute! Property Manager Wonderful!

Super Cute Cottage, accurate pics online and VERY CLEAN! We stayed 2 nights with our three kids that have age ranges from 9 to 11 months and with our two dogs. The house is a little small for larger dogs but we made due...host was GREAT, alot of convenient beach items for use. The beach was dirty unfortunately so we did have to drive to another location and the neighbors are pretty close if you want to do a fire at night...but they are very friendly and nice.

Fall Break Fun

Our family had a wonderful time at the Cozy Cottage! My husband and I took our 2 children and 2 of their friends. We had enough space for everyone to have their own sleeping areas and some privacy. The kids loved being so close to the playground and the beautiful Lake Erie, which are just a short walk away through the quaint neighborhood. We also enjoyed the fire pit and made smores after a long day at Cedar Point. Our family is looking forward to returning since there is so much to do in this area. We went to Kalahari Water Park as well and had a great time. I would recommend the Cozy Cottage for anyone looking for a home away from home while visiting Lake Erie. Marcy provided everything we needed and made our trip smooth and easy. Thank you, Marcy! :)

Wonderful Cozy Cottage

Stayed for 6 nights to spend the week at Cedar Point. Absolutely perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the fire pit at night. The drive to and from Cedar Point was super easy and pretty along the island. Loved this Property!!

Cozy cottage tells it like it is.

We were three adults, a couple and a sister. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do. Marcy was helpful and gracious when we had a snafu checking in. We would stay here again.
