Peaceful Countryside Gite with private pool near Aubeterre

The Gite was originally built in 1868 and was used as a working wine cave, including wine vats and press. In 2017 the previous owners carried out a complete renovation to convert it into a beautiful 2-bedroomed fully self contained cottage, tastefully decorated with both modern and rustic features.
The main farm house and gite are located in 17 acres of farm land, with open paddocks where chickens and sheep roam and full of pretty flowers.
The gite's French door lead directly to a comfortable private BBQ and outside area which is an ideal spot to forget the rest of the world, relax and soak up the sunshine (Even in October & November).
The spacious kitchen, living and dining areas are open plan. The living room is furnished with two armchairs and a large comfortable corner sofa that converts into a double bed. The dining area has a large table suitable for seating 6+ people. There is a wood burner with wood storage space for the cooler times of the year. Freeview satellite box, flat screen TV, DVD player.
The light airy kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, electric cooker, large fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee making facilities for freshly brewed morning coffee and a variation of herbal teas.
The gite is single storey for ease of access and has tiled floors throughout except for the master bedroom which has a wooden oak floor. The clean fresh décor flows into the master bedroom which has a sumptuous king size bed, an armoire (wardrobe), large window overlooking the paddocks and its own French doors that lead directly out onto the outside area.
The twin bedroom has two single beds and armoire and a large window over looking the paddocks. Both bedrooms have two pillows per person and are hollow fibre and hypo allergenic.
There is a 7kg washing machine located in the bathroom area. The bathroom is tiled throughout and has a good sized shower, toilet and heater towel rail. There is also a hairdryer for your use.
There is a vacuum cleaner, general cleaning equipment, an ironing board, iron, airer and washing line for your sole use.
Freshly laundered linen is supplied for all the beds along with bath and hand towels.

A cot and high chair are available on request.

Please note there is a minimum nightly stay of 3 nights outside peak period in August. During the peak period, the minimum nightly stay is for 7 nights.
