A quaint and cozy lakefront getaway. Pet friendly and boat slip provided.
This lovely lake front property is not called Cabin on the Lake for just any reason. Sitting a mere 10 feet off the water this cozy home boasts a second-to-none view of Lake Norman. The Cabin includes a spacious dock with room for up to 3 boats, enough to host friends and family for an evening of cocktails and fireworks. This is a 2 bed 1 bath escape for water sport enthusiasts looking for a lakeside getaway or for the avid fisherman looking for their next Big Fish story. *PET FRIENDLY* There is a large open yard at the top of the lot available for parking vehicles and boat trailers. The closest boat launch is Stumpy Creek located 5 minutes away by car and about 15 minutes by boat. NOTE: In order to get from the Stumpy Creek boat launch to The Cabin you must go under the Perth Road Bridge which has a low clearance, especially when the lake is at Full Pond. Double Deckers and Cruisers will not fit under this bridge. *KAYAKS AND PADDLE BOARDS AVAILABLE FOR GUEST USE - LIFE PRESERVERS PROVIDED AND REQUIRED*
This was the perfect cabin on the lake. Literally right on the lake. Kayaks and paddle boards provided as well as a dock slip. Our dog was welcome and had plenty of property to walk around. The cabin is simple and clean. We loved it.
My stay was nothing short of AMAZING. I could not have selected a better property had I drew it up myself. My close friend who stays on the Southwest end of Lake Norman just fell in love with this quaint and cozy gem.
As usual the property met with our expectatioins Even with an abundance of rain during our stay we managed to enjoy ourselves. We woule highly recommend you committing the this rental and you could not ask for a better host
The location and lakefront are wonderful! The house is not fancy but very functional. We enjoyed the covered dock and use of kayaks. We were only here two nights to break up a drive home but very much enjoyed this as a stop on Lake Norman with our 2 dogs.Thank you!
Great place to stay. Real nice location and great view. Stayed there and competed in the Lake Norman State park sprint triathlon. Plan on staying again if we go back next year.
Great spot for fisherman. Very nice dock to tie up to. Good fishing in the immediate area. Quiet, and relaxing. Cozy cabin. Room to park your boat trailer. Overall a great experience
I absolutely loved it here. Right on the lake. Loved being able to sit on the dock and read. Loved the house, had everything we needed. My dog loved it too. I think I found my new happy place!
As usual; everything was prestine and we noticed all the updates made to the property. We visit twice a year and will continue to do so as long as we are able. Jay, the property manager, is easy to do business with and is always responsive to our communications. We would HIGHLY recommend the cabin; you can not go wrong
We loved everything! Itâs a lake house for sure but was quiet, private, and perfect for what we were looking for. Would love a fenced in yard in the future for pups but other than that it was great! Also enjoyed the kayaks!
We had a fantastic weekend! What an awesome little lakehouse! You provided everything we needed for a lake trip. We enjoyed the paddle boards, kayaks and just relaxing on the dock as well as the porch. Thereâs a nice grill we used as well as all the kitchen essentials The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed being able to bring our dogs with us. You canât beat the view out the patio door, the lake is literally 10 feet from the door. Thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful lake house. We would definitely come back again!
If you want a real lakeside experience, this house is for you. Everything that you could want (washing mashine, dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, grill, etc.) are included. Plus, the dock had a nice covered area and kayaks and paddle boards. We fished right off of the dock and caught a couple of nice bass. The only downside were mosquitoes and mayflies that were prominent for a few days (bring good bug spray). If you like draft beers, be sure to visit Duckworth's bar and grill (only about 10 minutes away) and try their Porter draft and ask for "George" the server. You won't be disappointed!
As we have said; we visit the cabin twice a year. We look forward to it and can not say enough good things abouot the host Jay. He is very responsive to you and always does whatever it takes to make your stay somet hin
The Cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was perfectly described and pictured on the posting. My husband and I loved how quiet and private it was. It was very close to everything in Moorseville and the view cannot be beat. We will definitely be returning! Also, the owners took great care of their cabin and we were able to use everything there. They also responded very quickly to any questions you may have had, but they left everything to where you donât need to ask questions at all! Thank you guys for sharing with us!
Location was great; lake shore along the entire property mere feet from the house. Also located near the end of a dead-end street so very few cars on the road while walking our dogs. The dock was great, the kayaks fun and the beds were comfortable. This is definitely a cozy place but there is room to move about. Some of the renovations were DIY so it not a 5 star resort. However if youâre looking for a budget friendly and pet friendly place that allows for a lot of fun on the lake, this is your place. Would definitely stay here again
This property worked out very well for our family. We traveled from PA and met up with Our Daughter and Son-in-law traveling from FL. His family lives close by so it was a great location for us. The cabin is very comfortable and convenient. The appliances were all in working order. The cookware and dishes were more than enough for all of our needs. It was nice to not have to pack all of that. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and in the yard. Very quiet setting. I hope to visit again in the future when it is a bit warmer to utilize the lake.
