After a day of adventure, your family and friends will love returning to the unbelievable western sunset and mountain views from all three levels and every inch of its 1200+ square feet of outdoor deck spaces and hot tub! The house is conveniently situated on North Westridge Road, with easy access to skiing and summertime activities, including a complimentary On-Call Resort Shuttle Service. A new, flat parking area makes your arrival a cinch, with stairs leading down to an expansive paver patio and fire pit area. Inside, guests enjoy a spacious kitchen with a double stainless steel fridge, stainless steel appliances, and butcher block, and a chiseled granite island; a large dining room that comfortably seats 16; well-appointed living rooms on two floors, and a wet bar on the lower level; two washer/dryers; a large game room with TVs, pool table, foosball, ping pong and much more!

Enjoyable family reunion

Nice big property. Lots of games for the kids. Great view. Great place to just hang out. Buy your groceries before you get there as there is not much in the area.

Perfect Snowshoe House for Family

The house layout just works! The kids loved the game room and 'bunkhouse'. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Everyone enjoyed time at the fire pit and we appreciated the ability to sit 13 at one table especially when celebrating a birthday! The hot tub was a great way to recover from the slopes. We had no issues with the dishwasher or plumbing as noted by prior guests. The only thing that we noticed is that we could not turn off the hot tub and we did not know where to take our trash. Might be worth highlighting that on the helpful info left in the kitchen.

Family Reunion

The house was clean and very accommodating. The kitchen was equipped perfectly for a weekend of cooking and the dining room table was large enough to allow our family to gather together. We left talking and planning our next visit!

My family enjoyed staying at this house! The view is beautiful!

This house was exactly what we were looking for! It was probably the most stocked kitchen (in terms of pots and pans) that we have ever stayed at. The rooms were really nice, and my family loved spending time in the game room and living room. One thing that would have been nice was if a roof was put over the hot tub area so that it can be enjoyed even when it is raining. Overall, i highly reccomend this place!

An overall amazing house. Would stay here again if the price is right. Could benefit from some maintenance (dishwasher, foosball table, etc.) to bring it to 5-star level.

World Cup Weekend Stay

Had a great stay in Snowshoe! House was perfect for our big groups needs and made getting to the Village and all the events a breeze. House was clean, and most everything worked as intended. I would only say the house needs a new dishwasher as the current one apparently leaks and overall the house could use a touch of TLC maintenance. That been said, a great place to stay for a large group and fit our needs perfectly.

Nice place with maintenance issues

Great view and location and good layout for a family reunion. However, we were disappointed by some maintenance issues. The hot tub smelled like mildew; the company sent someone to add chemicals but it didn't get much better. The oven was broken and although they had ordered a part they didn't tell us and we only realized when we had two loaves of bread dough ready to put in. We had to cook them in the toaster oven instead. The company did order an electric roaster for us(thank you!) but it showed up after we finished most of our oven cooking. The dishwasher leaked twice - a lot of water. The charcoal grill is missing the grate and is thus useless; the rental company said that they had told the owner but the owner didn't want to replace it because there's also a gas grill. One of the downstairs bedrooms is missing a smoke detector - there's a mount for it but it's empty. Some of the sheets were stained and the floor had food from the last guests. Another bedroom had a hole in the wall from a door handle, and one of the bathrooms had a broken towel bar. One of the couches is torn, the Foosball table is missing half of its ball bearings, the freezer is missing a leg and rocks, and some of the light bulbs are burned out. The company sent maintenance workers without masks. We still had a nice time but had expected the house to be better maintained.

Where should I begin?

This house was perfect for our family of 18! We had ten adults and eight children under the age of seven. There were 7 bedrooms that sleep 2 and one large bunk room that sleeps 10. The kids loved that room with 2 sets of single bunk beds, 2 single beds and 4 trundle beds underneath. The kitchen was fully equipped. It had two 4-piece toasters, crockpots, several coffee makers, a Keurig, plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, mixing bowls and anything else you would need. Nothing is open on Snowshoe Mountain during April and May, so we brought all the food we needed for an entire week. We cooked three meals each day for 18 people. There was room in the commercial sized refrigerator and freezer for everything. The dining room had a large wooden banquet table with 18 chairs and a high chair. This was probably my favorite part of the house, a place for our entire family to pray and eat together. The view from the family room was amazing! It had three full sized leather couches that looked out over the mountains, providing plenty of room to relax. Since there were no activities open in the vicinity, I came prepared with lots of crafts and games. Luckily, we had great weather for hiking and mountain climbing. The house is set in a mountain that is just steep enough to have to climb, but not too steep for little ones. There is a patio with a firepit that was perfect to watch the kids playing. Wood for the campfire was supplied for us. About 3 miles away we found a lake. The beach was closed, but there was a playground nearby and a woods with a frisbee golf course and a dirt bike course. There were also trails to hike around the lake. The hot tub on the back deck was a hit also. Random items: there was enough parking for 5 large SUV’s. There were two sets of washer/dryers which was awesome! There were plenty of towels for everyone. And did I mention, the view was amazing?! One thing to note, we’re really glad we arrived in the daylight, since we had to carry everything down about two stories to get to the house (think food for 18 people for a week 😊). Not a problem, but definitely not handicap accessible. Before embarking on this vacation, I had many questions, and the folks at Casago, Shari, Ruth and Sharon, were patient and answered every question, promptly. This house was so comfortable, not magazine perfect where you would be afraid to touch anything. It was just so relaxing, we felt right at home. We would love to go back! Thank you!
