Just Listed! Luxury finishes throughout this modern guesthouse perfect for a couples getaway or small family.

The Guesthouse is part of a larger property with a separate main house (search VRBO Property # 2033125 in the "WHERE" search bar ) which is also used as a vacation home. During winter months, there is a good chance the main house will not be rented and you are welcome to enjoy the entire exterior of the property (hot tub, playground, fire pit, etc). The Guesthouse also has its own separate private firepit in a beautiful private setting.


The wonderful spacious guesthouse (above the garage) features a fully stocked kitchenette (mini-fridge, cooktop and microwave), separate bedroom with a beautiful large king bed, large bathroom (entry from bedroom and living room), and a very comfortable queen size pull out sofa.

You will absolutely love the Grand Beach area in New Buffalo Michigan! Hear the waves crashing from the driveway or take a nice walk (or golf cart if available) through the beautiful winding wooded roads to one of the only sandy beaches in Southwest Michigan. Or enjoy the 2 super fun playgrounds in the neighborhood which are both a short stroll away.

Heads up for anyone wanting to rent this place: We had our stay cancelled at the last second. This guest house is part of a larger property that is its own separate listing, but if someone rents the main property they can use the guest house too and you'd never know because VRBO will say it's still available. The host seemed apologetic though, and we did get a refund, but we had to go through VRBO to get it because he was not answering any phone calls or emails. The place looks nice, and I'm sure it would have been a good time, but if you're going to book this, double check that no one else is at the main property first.

Relaxing Stay

Nice place for a couple to stay for a little get away. There’s a big walk-in shower and comfy bed. This is the guest house of the main property. No one was staying at the main house, so we were able to access the hot tub and golf cart. It was an added bonus. New Buffalo is a cozy town with some good eats!

Weekend Getaway

The property is exactly how it is described in the description. Very clean and cozy. It was nice to be in walking distance to the lake. There are cute local restaurants, bars, and shops where everyone was very friendly. Would highly recommend.

The house was not clean. Ceiling Fans had 2 inches of dusk on the blades which were over the bed. Black mold was located in the shower and baseboards in the bathroom. Ceiling light bulbs were broken and not working. Closet light was not working so I could not use the closet. The TV did not work and the washer/dryer took 5 hours to do one load.

Great Communication

We had a last minute schedueling conflict come up and weren't actually able to stay. The location owner was very responsive and did everything he could to accomodate our last minute needs.Although we didn’t end up staying at this location, the customer service experience from the owner was so wonderful that we'd choose this property again on our next trip to New Buffalo

Dont waste your time

After a 3 hour drive, I contacted the host for arrival instructions. I was about 30 minutes away and it was an hour past the soonest check in time, and the host cancelled my reservation when I was only 15 minutes away with no explanation. Ruined the weekend.

A great escape

The apartment was adorable and very comfortable. Super clean! We really enjoyed the hot tub and golf cart too. Be careful though...while it's in the description that you can't use the hot tub or cart if someone is staying in the big house...i didn't read it carefully. I rented this place based on the fact that it had these things and would have been disappointed if we couldn't. Also..the TV is placed oddly on the wall and you can't watch it well from the couch. I would totally go back. Absolutely love the area and we really enjoyed our stay. Might have asked to stay a second night if we could have used the hot tub and cart again. ;) The owners were great to work with too.
