Lake Access and dock slip is located off of Paradise Point Rd. Go about 100 yards Gravel Rd. on the right with black iron gate. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Great overall, Beautiful View, Needs some work

Overall the house is great. However, it has some issues. Negatives - Bathrooms need to be updated and redone. The tile is cracking, old, installed incorrectly and has mildew. There appears to be a steam feature in the upstairs shower, but you aren't allowed to use it, it's locked off. The main level smells as though someone smoked inside in the past (not fresh cigarette smoke). The deck looks to be attached to the house, rather than freestanding, which could be a safety issue. The house has two fireplaces but no instructions on using them, so we assumed it wasn't allowed. For a winter stay, that's a let down especially in the basement because it is cold down there. The basement sliding door to the hot tub is clearly broken, we could barely open it. The skee ball game can still be used, but doesn't appear to work as it is plugged in but nothing lights up. I tried the sauna, but it turned off before heating up. Not sure if it was something I did or if it just didn't work. The TV's are small for the rooms. The benches to the dining table have stains on them. In the back, there is a house off to the left, so it is not as private as it appears in the photos. Positives- that view!, hot tub and sauna (if working) are great amenities and super clean, spacious bedrooms, beautiful design on main floor, location is close to wisp and places to eat. Plenty of linens and towels provided. Bed we slept in was very comfy (blue room). The welcome bag was a nice touch. I am being a bit of a Karen here because the house is beautiful and I would absolutely stay again. However, this house is expensive and has a "super host" rating. In my experience, private owners who list on VRBO would be slammed for some of the issues we noticed, especially bathrooms in that condition if they listed at that price and had that rating. This is listed by a property management company, and I have noticed they appear to get more leniency, which isn't fair. If they want to list on VRBO they should be held to the same standard as the private listers who made these sites so great to begin with.

Great stay, less than ideal property management

Pros: The home was great. The lake view, fireplace, and hot tub were fantastic. The kids loved the games and ski-ball in the basement. Cons: The upstairs shower is in need of deep cleaning and smells of mildew. I also received too many emails (more than 10!) from the property management company, which made it hard and frustrating to find needed information since pieces of info were buried in different emails (such as my access code to check in on the online portal). Also, I have to question the property manager’s Covid response, which they feature on their website (mostly about cleaning linens and their sanitizing solution), since they don’t provide hand soap/cleaning products, and they also instruct guests to wash and put away all dishes before checking out (as opposed to simply running the dishwasher before leaving). There were several dirty dishes that had been put away (probably in a hurry when previous guests checked out), leading us to re-wash most of what we used. There’s a cleaning fee included in the VRBO booking process, yet we had to do a lot of cleaning and purchase hand soap and other cleaning products (such as brushes to do dishes)—seems off to me. Again, the property was great, but unless Railey property management updates their practices, be prepared to bring your own hand soap and cleaning supplies.

It was everything I expected. The view was spectacular. The home was quiet, quaint and spacious. Really enjoyed my stay. No complaints. Would love to come again.

Family vacation

Beautiful location and amazing view from the deck. The community area and dock are perfect for families with small children. House is very child safe. Only issues were very fixable. We lost AC near the end of the trip and there was an odd smell in the basement. Otherwise would recommend this place and stay again!

Good times

Great property. Magnificent view. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the indoor wood fire and especially the hot tub. Sauna was nice although it’s smaller than I expected. Great amenities. Only improvement I could think of would be a fire pit. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nicely appointed

The beds were very comfortable which is rare for rentals. House was warm and well stocked with useable kitchen ware. The sauna was a draw for us and we enjoyed that as well as the jacuzzi. We were here to ski and the drive to and from the Wisp was very doable even with all the snow fall.
