Feet from Canmore's Amenities.

This unit is decorated in a more traditional style reminiscent of the old Canadian Pacific hotels before they were modernized and brought into the 21s century. The solid wood Alder table and chairs reminds one of a 19th century Coaching Inn rather than a 21st century condo. An old fashioned tea trolly doubles as an occasional table to add a bit of old world charm to the living area. Some antique artwork graces the walls to give a feeling of a bygone era. The faux leather sofa in the living area would not be out of place in a Gentleman's club. The comfortable character feel of this unit will entice you to snuggle up in front of the gas fire with a good book.

We really enjoyed our time in Canmore - this place felt like a cozy home. The condo was set up nicely for what we needed, including the kitchen, and was clean. Richard and Dallas replied instantly when I had a question and kept checking in which was great. My only issue was that I didn’t realize the upstairs en suite bathroom was open air.

HI Beth, We are delighted that you had a fabulous visit to Canmore. We realise that our condo only plays a small part in peoples visit to our beautiful mountain town. We feel very lucky that the condo is so well situated within the town, with access to most facilities on foot. We are sorry that it wasn't entirely clear that the loft area is open plan. We particularly chose this style of condo as we are on the fourth floor and this gives us less noise and absolutely beautiful views of the mountains, through the massive windows. Ski Vacation

Convenient location to shopping, Canmore town Center and local hikes. Travel to Banff Sunshine and Lake Louise ski areas were under an hour drive. Would stay again.

With the introduction of some new parking restrictions, the ability to park a vehicle and walk to most of Canmore's amenities is a real boon for both ourselves as a family, and for the wonderful guests, we share our home with.

Excellent & quickly responsive service from the owners! The unit is very clean & well equipped. The availability of the Canada National Parks pass was a very pleasant surprise - we used it on many days. A very peaceful place to stay; great views of both sides of the valley from the front room & balcony. Hope to make use of it again!

Location Location Location! Thanks for your kind comments regarding our condo, but being in such a beautiful part of the world helps. Our top floor, lofted condo really gives wonderful uninterrupted views of the Canadian Rockies, but with all the comforts of home. The condo is also very close to most of Canmore amenities. We hope we can welcome you back to Canmore before to long.

Amazing!!

Wow, my girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations at Rentals in the Rockies! The suite was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It was an excellent location for us and we will definitely be returning. We'll recommend Rentals in the Rockies to all of our friends too!

We had originally been approached by a vacation rental company to manage our condos, but after 10 months without a single booking we had to step in and start managing our condos ourselves. This is how Rentalsintherockies was born. Necessity, being the mother of invention, rather than us feeling we could easily start a vacation rental company. Now after 15 years we have met some great families and groups of friends who stay with us regularly, but there is still plenty to learn.

You will witness Dallas’s flair for design as she has personalised each of our suites to reflect a calm and restful environment for you. As a family owned business, we have taken extra care to make sure you have everything you need when you arrive onsite from towels to teabags, there is even a sample of some local chocolate. We recommend visiting Le chocolatier at 121, 701 Benchlands Trail, Canmore for some great gifts to take home if they make it that far! All you need to do is come and enjoy. As well as being a designer, Dallas is an actress, playing small parts in hundreds of movies and British TV shows, from the first “Star Wars” movie to the hit Netflix show “The Crown” and “Downton Abbey”. Some of Dallas’s photos and memorabilia are on display in unit 407.

I am a entertainer and a qualified piano technician. I always joke and say I am the only performer to have toured in secrecy! I play keyboards and sing and according to Dallas, I am funny. Maybe not always intentionally! I am also our family’s wannabe Canadian. In all the times I have traveled to Canada there isn’t one occasion when I haven’t looked forward to the visit. Although I have visited many provinces, being able to visit a year round destination, like Canmore, is great for us when planing a tri

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Now, you may be wondering why two people who live in the UK decided upon the beautiful town of Canmore in the Canadian Rockies, to be our home away from home. Although born in London, England, Dallas has always had a strong Canadian connection. Dallas spent many fond childhood years on the Canadian Prairies. Her father John was a Canadian soldier during WWII, and he met her mother, Kathleen, one rainy evening at a dance hall while he was serving at the Canadian Embassy in Trafalgar Square, London. After a whirlwind war-bride romance, and shortly prior to his deployment to France they were married. After the war John, his bride Kathleen, Dallas and her brother Terry moved back to his home town of Beausejour, deep in the Canadian Prairies. When Dallas was a teenager she decided to return to her home away from home, England. Our son Adam, who thanks to his Grandfather’s influence currently serves with the Royal Canadian Air Force and has maintained our strong connection with Canada. We first visited the Canadian Rockies when Adam was posted to Edmonton in 1999. We stayed with friends and decided to explore the area. It was then when we realised how beautiful Canmore is and how much it has to offer. Its proximity to not only Alberta’s major cities and airports, but also to Banff and the incredible Canadian Rockies make it an ideal destination. It was love at first sight.

Located downtown and close to all amenities, shops, art galleries, supermarkets. Bike rentals just below the condo and a very short walk the the trial heads in and around Canmore. From a short walk along Policemans Creek to grab a coffee to stretching your legs on some of the mountain trails. There is something for guests of all abilities.
