Location, location, location. Great parking, right downtown. Easy to walk to all shopping, Baseball Hall of Fame, and restaurants. The building is set back so itâs quiet and very safe. Itâs a great choice if you are looking for a simple, affordable and friendly place in town.
Perfect location and the perfect staff! Anything we needed, the staff went over and above to accommodate us. The location is perfect to anything you need in town and just a short drive to the baseball fields. Best of both worlds when you stay here! Loved it!
Proximity to Baseball HOF and local shops is unmatched. The room is simple and fits your basic needs. Owners were kind and attentive. Location allows you to park your vehicle and not move it during your stay which is a huge perk. Again Hotel Pratt was perfect for a quick getaway.
If youâre looking for a no-frills stay with hot water and mysterious energy, look no furtherâliterally, itâs tucked down a back alley behind a historic hotel that it ⊠is not. This is called the âNewâ Hotel Pratt but itâs not ânewâ and not a âhotelâ âŠThe front door was wide open. No lock. No lobby. No security. Just vibes. A black cat prowled the property nightly, clearly in charge. The garage stayed open for reasons no one dared ask, and we barricaded the room with a heavy chair (no joke) because⊠instincts.Laundry lives in a basement accessible only from outside, and the hallway aroma said âlong-forgotten heirlooms.â The room did smell great, and the shower deliveredâbut even that couldnât distract from the spider making unbroken eye contact from the ceiling.Decent if youâre on a budget and donât mind an air of suspicion mixed with lavender. It gives grandma vibes without the charm, but itâs a place to stay.
Clean and walking distance to everything we needed
I was in town for a conference with coworkers and we wanted to be able to walk back to our lodging after sessions. This stay was ideally located, clean and quiet.
Hotel Pratt is a very convenient place to stay in Cooperstown. You can easily walk to the Hall of Fame Museum and the shops on Main Street. The free parking on the premises is a big plus. The room was clean and comfortable and I had no complaints. The owner responded to all inquiries quickly.
The room was tidy and clean. Laundry services were available. Our central location in downtown was absolutely perfect. Also, the host responded to queries in a timely manner. I would most definitely come back here again.
The hotel is steps away from the Hall of Fame and Doubleday field. My boys had the best time. The hotel was so easy to get to, they were constantly checking in to make sure we were set, and it was in a perfect location. We will be staying here again!
This was a very clean, centrally located place to stay. Not a luxury sort of place, but well cared for. The owner was accommodating and friendly. I'd stay here again, and can recommend it without hesitation. Worked out great for a father-son Hall of Fame weekend.
We found our room to be as advertised. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, quite spacious, and walking distance to everything in Cooperstown. We made good use of the little wet bar and microwave to have breakfast in the room and loved the size of the fridge. We had zero problems during our short stay, appreciated the free parking, and would absolutely stay again. I saw some reviews putting it down for not being fancy, but that is obvious from the pictures, so don't rent it and then give it a bad review for being exactly as advertised. I've stayed in fancier places that weren't nearly as ideal for what we needed.
Quaint and convenient - literally steps from the Baseball Hall of Fame. The most friendly, thoughtful and helpful staff. We communicated several times before and after our trip. The room was a very nice size and comfortable Not the most modern but clean and pleasant.
The communication with the host was excellent. It made the check-in process painless. Everything was clean and ready for us. The bar next to the room was a bit dodgy late at night but once we walked to the main street everything was good. Cooperstown is a great place to visit.
This is our 2nd time staying here, and for all future visits to Cooperstown this will be our home base. Literally a 2 minute walk to the Hall of Fame and all of the shops and restaurants downtown. A short 15-minute drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park. Comfortable and quiet, with onsite parking, which makes downtown much more accessible. The hosts are wonderful, and communication was great. We highly recommend.
