This Wood Homestead was established in 1833 and is one of the original Homesteads on the Eastside of Indianapolis. The house is fully furnished with all the items like being at home. It has been recently updated and is a nice blend the old with the new. We are located one mile south of Historic Ft. Harrison and the State Park. Roughly 15 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. Plenty of parking and room for RV or Trailer. Lots of extras for the family to enjoy! Firepit, games and more! This house is a NON-SMOKING, vaping, cigar or any other substance in the home. However, there are plenty of areas outside to smoke. We also provide a complimentary bottle of wine for your pleasure for our multiple nite reservations.
Overflowing with charm and amenities. A delightfully cozy older home, and a welcoming and considerate host. My only regret in booking this property was only staying for one night.
We stayed here for a wedding in the city. It was quick and easy access to get where we needed to be, the house was as clean as a pin and was very well appointed! If ever in Indianapolis we will stay here for sure!
A clean and cozy house equipped with everything thatâs needed. Quiet neighborhood. Responsive owners. Easy to get downtown and to other Indy areas. Good choice!
Cute and clean farmhouse, everyone had their space. Close to the soccer fields we were playing at. Communication with the host was great, we enjoyed our stay.
