Spacious updated private home, quiet neighborhood, walk to downtown.
Built in 1898 and updated with modern comforts. Large private home tucked back from the street in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of off street parking. Freshly painted and newly decorated. Spend time catching up with friends in the welcoming living room or reading with a cup of tea in the cozy sun room. Easy walk to downtown and a short drive to all of the Finger Lakes region. Convenient central location to explore all the leisure activities Western NY has to offer.
The stay was nice and comfortable. The booking, check-in and check-out process was easy. The host was pleasant with communication and response time was quick.
We enjoyed 3-nights stay. Kitchen is clean and there are more than enough plates, bowls, spoons, paper towels, napkin etc. Bedrooms are clean, spacious and host provides enough covering for night sleeping. More than enough shampoo, conditioner, soap and towels in bathroom. The 1st floor bathroom seems too small.
Easy access to the home. Everything was wonderful. Kitchen was fully stock-2 sets of silverware, plenty of utensils, cleaning supples. House was immaculate!
Five crazy quilting ladies traveled from Michigan to the State of New York for a quilt shop hop. This location was central to several shops that we visited as well as the Niagara Falls. The house has lots of space and is very clean. Definitely would stay again.

Not accurate listing
The day before we were to arrive, the host texted that she stays in the basement of the house we rented. It was awkward throughout the stay. We could hear her in the basement the entire stay.
This home is stunning. The original details and solid construction makes you feel like you are going back in time. Careful consideration has gone towards creating modern convenience without taking away from the original charm. The location was great for us. The only quirky thing I would say about this home is the Jack and Jill style bathroom off the primary bedroom without a lock. If you stay here you need to establish that if the door is closed, knock before entering. However, our family has rated this as our favorite VRBO. We would absolutely stay again if in the area
We enjoyed our short stay in Clifton Springs! The town was nice and we were able to visit several wineries nearby. The house was spacious and kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was spotless! We would love to return.
We were very pleased with our stay at the Victorian in Clifton Springs. The house was exactly like it was described and the village itself very charming. We visited the area to participate in a triathlon with extended family and there was room for everyone. Everything we needed was on site and in just the place you thought it should be. A great spot!
Immaculate old house with modern amenities. Large rooms on the main floor so everyone can be in their own space if they want, or all together in one room. 5 large bedrooms upstairs. 5 minute walk from the village, which is quaint, clean, and safe.
Owner was very responsive.
Absolutely beautiful home, it had everything. The host even provided toiletries, it was in a quiet setting, we didn't walk anywhere but she was so amazing, she even let my sister use her heating pad. The house was just amazing, we loved staying and will stay again if we can. Every stay at a VRBO will now be compared to this place, if I could give it 10 stars I would.
Although I spent five minutes typing a message to owner the day before arrival explaining our early arrival, it never got to her so they called the cops on us for breaking in early. Not a good start or play on their part. After that, I think it went smoothly and the property met our needs for a family reunion nearby.
We used Debbi's house as our central location to visit RIT, UR, and Syracuse. We also did a sight seeing trip to Niagara Falls. The house was immaculate - it has tons of character and is beautifully maintained. The four of us had ample room to spread out. Our two boys had their own rooms -- which they don't get at home. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook our meals. The BBQ looked brand new and worked great. Debbi's fridge was clean but, not empty -- it had the basic condiments one almost always has to remember to purchase. Debbi was kind enough to leave a new bag of ground coffee in the pantry. We used it, and left a replacement to say thanks. The house's location was perfect for us - just steps from beautiful downtown Clifton Springs, less than a mile from the grocery store, and just a few minutes away from I-90. We would definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this place. Clearly it was prepared and maintained with love and thoughtfulness. We enjoyed everything about it - from cleanliness, to detail of the decor, to small things available in the kitchen that were very helpful, to the books and puzzles that were available to measure activities. I highly recommend this place. Thank you to the hosts and the manager.
My siblings, their spouses, parents and my husband spent the weekend in this charming house. All the nooks and crannies were fun to explore. House is much bigger than you would realize. The property outside is well maintained with comfortable seating. The only negative was that the host has a basement apartment that she stays in which is not mentioned in the listing and was only told to me the day before our stay. We only saw Debbie once and she was very friendly so it really just depends on how comfortable you are with the host on site. For us it worked okay but knowing earlier would have been preferred. If we need a big house in the future when visiting my brother and his family this house will be at the top of our list. Thanks for an awesome weekend!!
There were five friends and family and we had a great time at the place! Everyone had there own bedroom which was great and the house was gorgeous and so clean! In person it's even prettier. The house was equipped with little essentials that most places never supply. We were impressed that there was enough toilet paper too! Most rental give 2 rolls for a week no matter the number of people and this was something we didn't have to worry about!
The property is so nice. The community is adorable. This is my first VRBO experience. It will take a lot to top this. Thank you very much to the owners and the property manager.
Very comfortable historic home in Clifton Springs!
This was our second visit at Deb's rental, and hopefully won't be our last! The house is simply amazing-beautifully historic details, comfortable, clean, well-appointed, plenty of space --I could go on & on! Our host was super accommodating by adding an additional day at the last minute and providing us with a high chair for our granddaughter. The beds are comfy. Since our stay was for Thanksgiving, we were able to prepare a couple of dishes at the rental to take to our relatives' house in Victor for dinner. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, bowls, appliances, and utensils. In summary, we would definitely stay here again!
We were very, very satisfied, clean plenty of supplies spacious areas. The beds are very comfortable amazing. Showers were very very clean. We just had a wonderful time. Iâd recommend this place to anybody. Itâs almost too good to rent out lol
After traveling as a military family for many years we decided to make Clifton Springs our home. I enjoy the village and the many local businesses as well as the good friends and neighbors we are lucky to have here. My children finished school, attended local colleges and two of them live nearby with their families. I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. I went back to school and earned my Masters degree in Library and Information Studies and worked for the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. and after many years have recently retired. I am busier than ever, enjoying retired life back in Clifton Springs. I have a private apartment with its own entrance on premises. You may see me coming and going. If there is anything you need during your stay, please feel free to reach out.
After living in several busy cities i was looking for someplace quieter with a slower pace. Clifton Springs is a small friendly Village in Western, NY; just far enough away yet close to several small to medium sized cities and only thirty-five minutes from the airport in Rochester. I fell in love with this house when I saw the late Victorian architecture, complete with high ceilings and pocket doors and lots of natural light. The house is set back from the street with an expansive lawn. It's a wonderful family home.
The wide foyer for greeting guests and the small sunroom with stained glass accents as well as the unique mantle in the den and many built in cabinets throughout the house are a few of the features that attracted me to the house. It is a peaceful and welcoming place.
