Property joins the St Francis National Forest which has great season long bow hunting. 40 acres of beautiful scenery on Crowley Ridge. 2 miles from The Mississippi River State Park Visitors Center .and Bear Creek recreational area with great fishing, swimming, and kayaking, . Walking or hiking trails. Lots of big windows for viewing the wildlife. 2 acres of stock pond with a fishing pier. Large dining table. Relaxing, secluded and a great hideaway behind the gate.

Cozy cabin

What a great cabin in a beautiful little spot! We loved walking around the lake, watching the sunsets, enjoying time on the porch and just hanging out in the cabin. And the Christmas decorations really made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Secluded and quiet. Private pond and property to walk. Spent all day and night fishing, campfires and stargazing. Bring your own food.

Perfect cabin getaway

Excellent stay at the cabin! Perfect tranquility with pond view from the incredible porch. The wildlife were fun to watch, from the geese in the pond to the deer late in the evening. The cabin was very comfortable with all the amenities you could desire. We grilled steaks on the charcoal grill one evening, and cooked meals the other evenings in the very well supplied kitchen. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing stay. Next time I am in this area we will definitely stay again!

Home comforts

We loved staying here. Plenty of room, quiet setting, and best of all was the ability to spend precious time with our Monroe county family that we hadn’t seen since nov 2019. The deck was perfect for the older crowd to rock and talk. Kids enjoyed fishing the pond....we took trips to MS River State Park to fish the stocked pond. We took gravel road walks and caught lightning bugs. Cooking family meals there meant lots of time eating and laughing together! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Amazing family getaway

The cabin is more beautiful inside than the pictures portray! The view from the living/dining room is phenomenal. The kids LOVED the bunk bed and seeing deer from the dining room table. They loved the rocks and playground on site as well as hiking the property. The fire pit was very relaxing and the weather was perfect for us to make s’mores and spend time together. We have made incredible memories at this lovely little cabin and plan on returning in the future! Thank you for a beautiful, quiet getaway from the chaos of 2020. :)

Family vacation

Me and my family had a very relaxing time staying at the cabin. The view of the pond was very beautiful watching the fishes and turtle in the pond was very exciting.The cabin was equipped with all the supplies that was needed for any occasion.we really enjoyed our stay and we plan we rent the cabin again Thanks for the great hospitality.

Fall Retreat

The lodge and surrounding property were ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature! Wildlife abounds around the spring fed pond. We viewed the comet, enjoyed birds, deer, geese, and fish. The lodge is well appointed and comfortable. We definitely will return!

A Real Gem

We were fortunate to have a 2 week stay at this cabin, and could have stayed a lot longer. The land, the cabin and the pond created a wonderful setting for fun and relaxation. The cabin was very comfortable and well designed with great rustic touches. The long porch was awesome, with rocking chairs and some padded furniture, a great place to start the day with coffee and watch the pond come to life. We saw plenty of wildlife, including deer, racoons, rabbits and all types of birds. We became very familiar with a large carp which fed along the shoreline regularly. Fishing was great, and just a few steps down from the porch. We were very content just staying at the cabin, but we did explore the nearby beautiful Bear Creek Lake area and made a wonderful drive down to Storm Creek Lake through the St. Francis National Forest. Overall, our experience was awesome and I think we said "wow" to each other many, many times. We definitely plan to return.
