Welcome to the Manse in Baysville. This 3 bedroom board and batten minister's "cottage" was one of the first buildings in the town. Enjoy village life in a lovingly-restored century home steps from where the Muskoka river meets Lake of Bays. A breeze-way dining room leading to a cheerful verandah offers the best in indoor/outdoor dining. Includes a fully equipped, rustic eat-in kitchen, great room and games parlour.
The Manse was the perfect solution for a long- weekend stay to celebrate a wedding at a nearby cottage. The house has everything to be comfortable, even in very warm weather. We enjoyed making breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen, hanging out in the spacious living room and sleeping in the very comfortable beds. The owners were gracious and available if necessary. Highly recommended.
The host was very responsive and helpful.
The house was well acquiped and nicely decorated including local art and vintage objects.
It is also very well located at the center of the village with easy access to Dorset and Huntsville and the area's spectacular fall colors.
We had a wonderful stay!
