Nice suite... the one downside is the lack of restaurant/ room service/ breakfast options, but you are spoiled for choice in town and its only a short (free) shuttle ride away.
Chateau Beauvalon is a lovely hotel. Itâs far enough away from the centre to be peaceful and secluded yet only a 10 minute drive from the ski hill. Thereâs a great common room and outdoor hot tub. Our room was spacious with two bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a kitchen, living room and balcony. The beds were comfortable but I would recommend bringing your own pillows. It was also very warm in our room with seemingly no way to adjust the temperature. Although in all fairness, we didnât ask for assistance. We would definitely recommend and go back to this hotel.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds and blankets were comfortable. The outside hot tub and inside pool were relaxing after a day of ski.they have a shuttle to resort few minutes.
We loved the Chateau Beauvallon for its cleanliness, friendliness and great decor and facilities. The hotel is conveniently situated to Mont Tremblay village and st Jovite for great restaurants and shopping, and close to the national park. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean.
We would happily stay here again
Good overall experience with comfortable beds and good family living space. Hotel halls aren't well lit and our room smelled of curry. The hotel staff was helpful but not proactively so.
Great stay, good value, beautiful property & friendly staff
Everything ran smoothly during our vacation. The room was exactly as described and both the property and staff exceeded our expectations. We should have opted for a three or four bedroom which has a full kitchen bc the food options are either far or very expensive for a family six. We would 100% book at this property again.
The apres ski atmosphere was great. Bar, billiards, pool and hot tub.
Kudos to the front desk that gave key cards out to our whole party of 7. And more Kudos for allowing our party of 7 to park 3 cars with no issues.
I will put in a request that the Hotel Beauvallon add a few L2 chargers for electric cars
We had a great time.
Thanks,
Paul
Good location for a golf retreat but unfortunate that the bar in the lobby was closed the whole time. Would have enjoyed a beer there while playing pool.
At least the rooms had a patio so we could hang out outside but the fireplaces also were not working. Decent spot to sleep but don't expect to lounge and hangout cozy at the hotel.
We are loyal, repeat customers since 2013. The Chateau Beauvallon has everything we need while weâre in MT. We would love to see the restaurant and the light breakfast and coffee/tea return but the location is perfect with the convenience of their shuttle service (Wooo!) and the staff treat you like family. Another shout out to Sylvie and Suzanne for their kindness and attentiveness. Merci Beaucoup!!
Summer stay, family with 2 kids.
It is one of those properties that has seen better days. It is easy to see how it was rated 4 stars back in the day considering its chalet design and beautiful surrounding area, but that rating no longer makes sense.
The location is very good, not within the Tremblant resort but very close, a 5-minute drive from the shuttle pick-up areas at the resort. There is a shuttle that runs from the hotel. The surrounding area is beautiful, with lots of greenery, with a small lake by the property.
The hotel is... gloomy and tired.. that captures our impression and experience. The carpets in the room were very dirty and stained. The room was very dark, facing the pool area which has a lot of trees that are blocking the windows and light. The dishwasher leaked. There were no bowls in the kitchenette. The restaurant has been closed for a while due to staffing issues, we were told. The indoor pool was closed for an indefinite time. The outdoor pool area had old plastic loungers with nothing on the plastic. Again, you can see by the design of the pool and the hot tub area that this was once a sure 4-start hotel. There are some really nice touches in the design, like a rocky stream source flowing water into the pool. But you can also see how time and weather have worn all that down and nothing has been renovated since.
This hotel needs a new investor to renovate it back to its 4-star glory. Until then, 3 stars it is.
Property is very very dated. In the two bedrooms, for example there are ZERO electric outlets. To use my CPAP machine I had to pull out the mattress and boxspring and struggle to unplug lights that were built in to the wooden wall-unit bed surround. Was very difficult. The lights I unplugged were only two very small halogen lights and didnât provide much light anyways, but without these the lighting in the room was that much worse. On the wooden dresser, there was a clock radio and lamp, neither of which was plugged in obviously since there were no outlets! On the second day, the bedroom carpet was all wet and we realized there was a leak from the shower inside the walls - on further inspection management informed us we would have to change rooms and initially put us in a smaller unit size. We had to argue with the person at the front desk to finally get a unit of the same size. In the new unit the thermostats were not working properly as it was boiling hot even with the temperatures set very low.
Overall, the property was old and not very clean or well kept.
