Historic district , Itâs a beautiful house that close to Dc area ,most of vinery in the area ,walking to shopping centers and restaurants .if you are planing to travel vineries and dc area that good cozy place to stay with your family .
The place is clean and close to many places to explore. We really enjoyed our stay as there was a nice backyard for our dog.
We would highly recommend staying here.
Property is nestled in amongst an industrial location next to the highway. I did not mind, no one was driving back there that did not need to be and I felt safe and tucked away. The beds were clean and comfortable and our pet was welcomed. I had laundry access. I enjoyed this experience more than I would have a hotel. It was quiet aside from the lull of traffic at night behind the property on 66. Great stay, and close to amenities and activities.
I have used VRBOs for years. Love them. Not this one. Thereâs a guy in the basement that has full access to you. No lock on your side of the door for the idea of safety, for the man in the basement with computer monitors and sensors around the property. Just sayin. No hot water, ever. Nearly empty kitchen, that smelled terrible from lack of cleaning( I had to take pictures). My daughter wanted to play in the backyard and playset that was promised and mention and it was a rusted termite trap. Also I had to take pictures. Definitely a no.
There wasn't any toilet paper or paper towels. Only 1 towel per bathroom.
The property was nice. Unfortunately the house next door caught on fire while we were staying at this property. The house next door was a total loss. Very frightening!

Sorry to say, we could not recommend this property to anyone because of an overpowering and awful smell. Knew there was a business in the lower level, but whatever they're doing is producing strong and foul odors. All other issues were minor in comparison. It is not in an historic area and it is not possible to walk to anything from there because there are no sidewalks along the busy road. Lacked basics like trash bags, sufficient toilet paper, towels. Commercial vehicles parked in driveway created difficulty. All that was minor and could have been overlooked but the smell was intolerable.
The VRBO was very nice. Itâs not perfect but it was comfortable. They have a business downstairs but they are very nice. If you need to do laundry just message Matt and he will get you access. The standing shower doesnât get real hot but it does the trick. If I ever need to stay somewhere again I would definitely stay again. Matt was very responsive with any questions I had. Again they have a cleaning business downstairs so you will hear people on occasion but not bad and they are super nice.
I am happy with the property with some caveats: the sofa bed was broken, the dining room table leg was wobbly and it was good that there were folks there to get bed linens and towels for the 7 adults. The property needs some love but for us, it was just what we needed. Thank you!!
my friends and I share roommates or live with our families and didn't have a place to have a small get together for my birthday, my guests enjoyed the house very much and was glad we were able to get away just to spend a nice evening with friends, thank you!
Checking in and out were not a problem, our host was there when we arrived and was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had what we needed. The house itself was cozy, quaint and very clean! We had plenty of space and furniture and beds very comfortable. Unfortunately there was a significant odor of dampness and a lot of outside noise from Rte 66 traffic, which was not separated from the backyard by any barrier, and the plant of some sort across the street. Additionally, the properties on either side were overcrowded with debris and vehicles and were rather unsightly. Iâm also a bit confused about advertising this area as âhistoricâ Manassas. We could not safely walk to any shopping, dining, or entertainment.
We were happy with the space and comfort that we got for our money and everyone we encountered there was very pleasant.
We booked this property because it looked nice in the pictures and also was supposed to be the entire place, but that was not true. We arrived late at night - after having to request basic check-in information from the host - and early the next morning were very surprised to be woken up by voices downstairs...supposedly there is an office downstairs that wasn't disclosed to us.
Also, our car was blocked in the driveway by people who were staying downstairs. This messed up our entire stay because we were planning to leave our dogs while we attended a seminar during the daytime, but couldn't do that with all of the activity.
On top of all of that, the place is in pretty bad shape - holes in walls, shower that doesn't drain, paint cracked throughout the house - plus the neighborhood is pretty rough. Directly behind the house is a freeway and directly in front of the house is some type of plant or factory that has a loud humming sound 24 hours.
I would highly recommend you look elsewhere when staying in the area.
We stayed the weekend at this clean and comfortable home in Manassas. The home is warm and inviting. There was a lot of natural light and plenty of closet space. It is centrally located near many shops, restaurants and gas stations as well as the Bull Run Battlefield. Check-in was very easy and we felt very safe at the house day and night. We had an enjoyable stay.
We chose this rental because our son had been accepted to GWU and we wanted to see the area. It wasnât a too bad drive into the district when construction wasnât going. We would have stayed a bit closer, but my sister had recently moved to centreville and we wanted to visit.
This house is extremely clean. The towels and linens were top notch, we were very comfortable. The property is along the highway, so there is some noise, but it wasnât too bad. Small details could be addressed like front bathroom toilet paper holder and missing bolt in toilet seat. My kids didnt complain, and I didnât notice until about 2 hours before leaving.
Overall it is a great rental and I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.
The home was decent but location was awful. Great back patio but you couldnât hear the person next to you. Toilet paper holder completely broken. Limited kitchen supplies. Front door lock falling off making it super difficult to get in. Had to ask for code to get in and a WiFi password. I suggest a welcome letter or check and out info.
My family stayed here for a few days to get out of our house nearby while we were getting it ready to sell. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for my 4 boys to stretch out and playâ they loved the big back yard. Access to major roadways nearby was helpful for my commute. The boys are already asking when we get to go back
My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The layout of the house is perfect and it was in a very convenient location. They were kind enough to let us in early during the storm.
My only constructive feedback is that I wish the check-in and check-out instructions were available via VRBO so that we had more information and so we didnât have to message the owner for everything.
But the property was exactly what we needed!
