Place was beautiful and Daisy was a great host and answered all of our questions.

Pocono vacation

Pocono vacation was really relaxing. We enjoyed hiking and day trips to other towns. Tobyhanna State Park was nearby. We enjoyed hiking and the lake. My husband was able to go fishing every day at the lake by the house.

Had a great experience!

Daisy was a wonderful host. I had some difficulty turning off the alarm when first I arrived but I was able to get in touch with her right away. The house was clean and well maintained. There was not a lot of air flow but we were able to get some air by opening the door for a bit. The neighborhood is very nice and woodsy. I definitely recommend this property!

Ski Weekend

Took my familiy to the pocanos for a ski weekend. Daisy's house was perfect. Halfway between Camelback and Jack Frost. We all had a wonderful time!

Needs improvements

We stayed here during the holidays and the weather was frigid which limits a lot to being indoors. The temperatures reached 19 degrees, and the heat in the house was not working which was extremely uncomfortable. We reached out to the property owner Daisy who had a technician come over to evaluate. He found that the heat in the boiler room was powered off (he wasn't sure why) and there were other issues that he couldn't resolve which required further service. Given the holiday timing, they wouldn't be able to have anyone come to fix it. We would have driven home that night but my husband was tired from the drive in so we stayed and layered up a lot. Especially during extreme temperatures, the heating/cooling system should have been properly evaluated before having renters stay for a period of time. Additionally, as timing would have it, we arrived the day of a bad storm that caused trees to fall. This property had a sizable tree that fell down and landed next to the edge of the house, while we were in it. Thankfully, no one was hurt but it came close the edge of the house and the outcome could have been much worse if the angle of the tree landed even a little differently. Given the trees on this property, it should be fully evaluated by a tree service for safety concerns and potential removal of dangerously positioned trees. Outside of that the property needs upgrades (ie, blinds fell off track, drawer fell out when opened, etc.) On a positive note, Daisy is very friendly and receptive, and did what she could from a distance. But there are several issues that need to be properly addressed in order for renters to have a positive and safe experience.

Wonderful weekend

My family and I had an amazing time at daisy’s cabin. Since the moment we walked in everything was organized and clean. She made sure all questions were answered. Overall I will go back to her cabin again.

Great stay, cozy cabin style home

Such a great family weekend. The house was insanely clean, and sort of secluded. The neighbors do report to the renter, so music and outdoor volume need to be low. The house does have cameras on the deck and outdoor area, which can hear and watch you.. kind of limits the privacy aspect. Overall, the renter is great with communication, and everything overall. I would definitely rent again.

Great Lake community

The house was in a lake community with a short drive to the lake. The lake had a great dock that you could fish off of, playground for the kids and small beach area. The owner communicated very well with us.
