King Bed Suite! Pike Peak Views! Private Entrance.

View Pikes Peak from the King Size bed!! This beautifully designed space is located inside our home, but is sequestered off from the rest of the house (we live upstairs) so that you have complete privacy, even if our schedules overlap. You have your own private entrance via keypad through the garage (garage parking available). Kick back and relax in the tub of your 5 piece ensuite bathroom. The location of the home is great for exploring Colorado Springs with restaurants less than 1 mile away.

You will have access to garage parking, laundry room, the large master bedroom and the attached ensuite master bath. No access is allowed to any other part of home.

Though you probably won’t see us much during your stay because the space is sequestered off from the rest of the house, feel free to message us any time with questions!

Our home is nestled in a beautiful upscale neighborhood with stunning views of Pikes Peak, especially at sunset!! A beautiful park with walking trails is located in the neighborhood, only a 2 minute walk from the house. Less than 2 miles from several shopping centers and restaurants. This home is in a perfect location for relaxing and enjoying mountain views out of your window or for exploring the Springs. Just a short drive to downtown, Garden of the gods, the Broadmoor, and great hikes! Decorated for you to enjoy your time indoors as well the great outdoors!

We (my wife and I) live upstairs. We are very respectful, quiet, and easy going. Loud talking /noises might be heard in other parts of the house so please keep noise down after 9 pm. We will do the same!

You can come and go as you please through the garage, which will be your own private entrance. The keypad is located outside so no key needed!
Easily check yourself in/park using the key pad on the garage. Just please make sure to close the garage when leaving!

Great stay

Stayed here 1 night to help break up a road trip and it was just what I was looking for. The space was clean, quiet, and easy to access, and being able to park in the garage was a huge plus.

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the space was very clean and comfortable. We had no problems checking in or communicating with the host. A great place to stay if you don’t need access to a full kitchen.

Convenient and comfortable

Entrance is through a garage door and then into a laundry room with a hallway that leads to the bedroom. *Not described in the listing is that the laundry room is shared. So you must request to use the laundry. Wonderful stay and thee host was very accommodating.

Easy living

Suite was just as advertised, clean, organized and well-provisioned, in a quiet residential setting. Isolated-enough from primary occupants, who I never heard or saw. Luxury-style early 2000’s bed/bath in very good condition, and plenty of space (honestly more than I needed as a solo traveler), vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, streaming video, comfy bed, enough chair/table space to work on my laptop, with solid,secure WiFi. Indoor air temps just right - ran the fan from time to time, but was always comfortable. (no separate thermostat in the suite that I noticed, but never wished for one!). 30 minute walk to supermarket/retail, which I knew ahead of time, and enjoyed - wide, safe sidewalks and crossings all the way. Convenient to airport and Peterson Air Base. Worked out just right for a dad visiting a newly-stationed USSF Guardian. Thanks!

“Our” Colorado Springs home

We enjoyed our Stetson Hills stay. Loved the location—quiet and clean, yet not far from shopping and restaurants. The host answered our texts promptly and was a good communicator. We really liked having a garage to park the car inside, and enjoyed the full-sized fridge that was there. The bed was comfortable The place has a HUGE closet. We did wish for a card table for setting our laptop on, and perhaps a few more towels, but we didn’t ask the host and I am quite sure that, if we had asked him, they would have provided them.

Many Many Pluses, Few Minuses

PLUS: Garage for vehicle, double sinks, comfortable bed, large closet, convenient washer and dryer, full-size fridge/freezer, quiet neighborhood convenient to shopping and dining, MINUS: Steep, narrow steps into garage (difficult for us, perhaps no problem for younger renters), small table and two folding chairs would have been nice.

Just a few details


First, the property was in a very safe neighborhood and the room was very well-kept. A few things that did not work for our specific lifestyle were
 No curtains on the windows so bright sunshine at 5:30 AM. No live television available, so no news weather sports etc. and finally the washer and dryer were not as advertised in the picture, we ended up not using them. The owner was very friendly and very easy to communicate with as far as quick responses. We found several things in the nearby vicinity to do. Although I would not book this again, it isn’t for a safety or cleanliness aspect, only that it did not meet our needs.

It was a brief overnight stay but the room was secure, quiet, and nicely decorated. The sheets, pillows and mattress were super comfortable and the ceiling fan kept a nice breeze and low hum to help us sleep. We would definitely stay with David again.

Nice place to stay

I just needed a place to sleep and this worked out great. This rental is only a bedroom and bathroom. Check in instructions were easy to follow. I have used many VRBO rentals around the country but this is the first time using a spare bedroom in someone's house while they are living there. During the day it was pretty loud hearing the folks behind bedroom wall but after 7pm it was quiet. Great view of Pikes Peak. They allow to park in the garage which was very nice. My Jeep gladiator fit by inches so a full size vehicle might not fit. Very comfortable bed. Overall a nice stay for the price.

Horrible

There was dirt dust and ants on the floors and window sills. There stains on all furniture. There were many short black hairs on the comforter. It was over 80 degrees in the room when we checked in in mid July while 68 outside. We didn’t even stay there because of how dirty and hot it was. Ended up having to scramble to find a hotel and paid to stay at the Cliff House in manatou, co. 3x the price but at theast the room was clean and had air conditioning. Never received a refund due to “strict ca chelation policies”. I would pick a better place than this next time.
