Charming historic home in impeccable condition perched above the rest in central downtown Boulder. Like new wood flooring throughout, wide moldings dating back to its origin in early 1900âs. Two large all wood floor bedrooms give plenty of privacy along with a very spacious living room and separate dining/office area. Thoughtfully decorated you will find the apartment always clean and rental ready for your short or long stay. The kitchen has all the utensils youâll need. Nicely appointed with a 4 burner gas stove which appeals to the chef in most of us. Sunny exposure and comfortable living in central Boulder.
Dans le quartier de Central Boulder, cet appartement condo se trouve Ă moins de 5 minutes de marche de Quartier historique de Boulder et Pearl Street Mall (centre commercial).University of Colorado-Boulder est Ă 3,6 km de distance.
My husband and I were in Boulder to attend our sonâs graduation from CU. We could not have chosen a property at a better location. Right next to Pearl Street. Walking distance to shops, groceries, restaurants, and an extensive system of hiking trails. The home is bright, clean, and comfortable⊠and even though it is near all the action, it is quiet and peaceful. As a bonus, thereâs a great view of the mountains from the deck. It was very hard for us to leave.
I shouldn't say anything about the property because I want to come back in the spring, and I'd rather not have it booked. But the homeowners were great, so I owe them a review. The property is an upstairs apartment literally 50 yards from Pearl Street, and a five minute walk from the trailhead to Sanitas. But the street is a quiet, tree lined street in class old Boulder. It doesn't get any better. Clean, airy, great natural light and windows. good kitchen, a deck with views of the Flatirons, and the homeowners downstairs are thoughtful and responsive. Thanks for a great stay in Boulder, hope to see you soon!
Rusty and Melissa are great owners and live downstairs to unit. We enjoyed our time in. Boulder. Great location. Unfortunately, Boulder was hotter than we thought. The unit was advertised as having air conditioning, but only window units in 2 bedrooms, not in main living room. We purchased extra fans so it wasnât too hot. I would encourage the owners to put a window unit in the main room. Also the unit was advertised as having parking. The street parking was less available than we anticipated, but not too much of a problem except on weekends.
Beautiful location, well equipped kitchen, wonderful owners. We had a great summer. Considering coming back next summer.
We Recommend the location.
Great location for exploring Boulder and beyond! It was the perfect spot for us to determine if we could be away from our home for a month. We can! Thank you for an awesome stay!
Pros:
Awesome King size tempura-pedic bed. Best nights sleep ever. Nice bedding as well. So hard to leave. Wanted to bring the bed with us!
Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of pots/pans, bread pans, sheet pans. Excellent gas grill outside. There was a variety of spices/oil/vinegar/and other staple foods left in the cupboards, which was appreciated.
Great space for a monthâs stay. Ample sized bedrooms, family room, bathroom and kitchen. Definitely clean and comfortable. Nice lighting in living spaces.
Stored 2 bikes outside under the stairwell/landing.
Cute extensive neighborhood to walk. Walk everywhere. Boulder Creek bike trail is super close and there is a safe bike lane to access it. Super fun to be so close to the mall.
Owners responsive to any request we had for items we needed. : )
Cons:
Ninth street is a busy road. Nighttime traffic can be heard. We used the fan on the A/C to mute the noise. We were from the country so if you are from an urban area, it may not bother you. This would not deter us from returning, however, as the benefits far outweighs covering up the nighttime noise.
Parking. Residential parking permit needed for on-street parking during the weekdays from 8am to 5pm. 3 hour limit if you are not a resident. No restrictions during the weekend for non-residents. There is a parking pass to a parking deck 2 blocks away for you to use during your stay. This was not an issue for us, as it was a short walk.
I would recommend this comfortable flat for it's convenient access to the Pearl Street Mall
The renting process was smooth and uneventful. The security code access worked perfectly. The neighborhood was quiet at night. Beds comfortable. Roku worked well. WiFi allowed me to do Zoom meetings. Parking was occasionally difficult, but we did not need to use the parking pass provided for the public garage 2 blocks away. All told, a wonderful home away from home.
Rusty and Melissa have thought of everything for a spacious top floor apartment. Their place is in an âold Boulderâ home in the downtown. Everything is is walking distance, and the bike share rack is just a block away. Check-in and communications are absolutely frictionless. This is a comfortable treat, and it is furnished in a signature fashion, not the canonical Ikea or Pottery Barn kit. I had a lovely visit.
They space was perfect for our needs and very clean. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of space for both my husband and me to work for a couple of days. We went cycling nearly every day and the location was prime for exploring big climby loops or flatter stuff in the valley. Great food and coffee all within walking distance. We appreciated having the outdoor space for eating and enjoying the view. This place was excellent for a longer stay in Boulder!
Great neighborhood just a block off Pearl St..... fantastic hosts and the
loft feels like home with plenty of amenities.....southern sun on the deck with views of the Flat Iron Mts.......
Had an amazing stay at this Boulder property. Check-in was easy and the hosts were easy to get in touch with.
The property is situated a block off of downtown Pearl St and is in walking distance to a number of trailheads, which was perfect.
The space itself is quite clean, cozy and comfortable and has a nice view of the mountains. Great internet, too. Perfect for working remotely.
All in all, I would highly recommend this space if you find yourself in the Boulder area.
I had a really nice stay in this downtown apartment and loved how close it was to Pearl and such. Rusty was a great host, very helpful and communicative. And the place is nicely kept with a lot of great touches. I wish i could have stayed longer!
Rusty and Melissa were great hosts and very responsive. The place is large and very clean. Just a block away from all the main streets to grab food, and hear some live music. We really enjoyed our stay and exploring Boulder!

The charm and character of remind me of my upbringing in the heartland of the country. The convenience of the location is unsurpassed for the urban seeking traveler.
1/2 block from the popular pearl street mall. Abundant restaurant, bakery, coffee shop and shopping is merely a few steps away. Hiking in the best Boulder locations is also very nearby right out the front door.
