Welcome to our renovated, historic barn house! Built the same year that nearby CSU opened in 1879, the original barn has been completely remodeled with a bar, huge living area, oversized sectional sofa, tables, large king size bed with memory foam mattress, three HD 65-inch flatscreen tvs, an HD flatscreen tv in the bar, plus a full bath, including a claw-foot tub. The open loft provides a queen-sized bed and three twin beds for over-flow company.
The space
There is not a better place in town to watch two football games at once. Plus, the CSU stadium is a short walk away.
The lower level features a new theater room offering a second large common space, a large bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed, dressers, tv, as well as another bedroom with a queen-sized bed and full-sized washer and dryer.
Between the two bedrooms, the bathroom offers a huge two-person tub, tv, and a custom rock and tile shower. Winter nights will be cozy with the heated flagstone floor.
The kitchen/bar is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, cookware, appliances, paper products, and, of course, plenty of coffee. There are extra blankets, pillows, and throws. Enjoy books, games, and satellite tv as well.
Wi-fi and numerous outlets will make computer use a breeze. Walls feature original stone and barn wood, as well as metal and wood ceilings, unique lighting, and rustic décor. The expansive entrance offers coat hooks and room for boots, skis and bikes. Visitors are in awe when they first step inside this cozy, roomy, and unique barn.
Just outside the barn are two patios - one huge flagstone patio with chairs, tables, and umbrella, and another that is covered with lighting, fans, has fire pit and a gas grill. The large parking area can accommodate several vehicles, and the gates can be closed in evening for security. Mature trees and beautiful landscaping keep the property cool and peaceful in the summer. Staying here is an experience!
** Please note that our barn house does have a spiral staircase and a high, open loft area.
