Our house was built in 2020 and has a comfy and open floor plan. Our house has 2 large bedrooms and 1 large bathroom with shower. Wide hallways, wheelchair accessible. Laundry room with washer dryer and iron. Outdoor Patio with chairs and gas grill. Located at the Smith Mountain Lake Airport. Airplane tie down available for $15/night. WiFi available. Kitchen complete with blender and crock pot.

Watching the planes

We enjoyed our stay here so much! It's clean, has a nice open floorplan and nicely sized bedrooms! Our kids were able to share a room and they loved it. We walked around the area one afternoon and got to see three planes take off / land as well as speak to a neighbor and learn all about small planes and the airport. We would definitely stay here again and loved all the personal touches of towels, sheets. leaving snacks and shampoo for guests.

couldnt be better

plenty of room, both inside and for boat parking. the house was spotless clean. i hope to be able to stay here every time i have a tournament at smith mountain.

What an awesome place!!

We wished we could have stayed longer but it was such a beautiful place. We saw wildlife as soon as we got there - 2 deer, a red bird, and rabbits. It was neat! Can’t wait to come back!

SML fishing trip

Simply exquisite! Lots of room, everything you need for a get-away, wonderfully appointed, and super clean. About as comfortable as you can get.

Weekend Fishing tournament

Had our classic fishing tournament for a long weekend at Smith Mtn Lake. This house was perfect location for the boat ramp we needed to use. The house is open and looks to be either recently remodeled some or is just kept extremely well. The open floor plan is great and the bedrooms and very large along with a large bathroom. Want to come back again to be able to enjoy the house more as it has just a relaxing vibe and you don't hear anything around you. Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway

A beautiful open floor plan that is mostly wheelchair accessible- wide doors throughout the home, a large bathroom and a very small threshold to enter into the front door made it very easy for a wheelchair user to enjoy a weekend getaway with her family. The home was clean, welcoming and modern. Lori was very responsive before our stay and we didn’t need to contact her during our stay for anything. The home is just off of the airport runway so you do here some noise from the planes but not very loud or frequent. Definitely looking forward to returning to this secluded spot.

Wonderful Stay in Clean Home

Our stay at this home was wonderful. It is a beautifully decorated and clean home in a peaceful area. We enjoyed watching the occasional small plane take off from the SML airport nearby. Since the SML State Park is only minutes away, we prepared and ate all meals at the house and could quickly return to the park. This made for a nice air conditioned break midday. Lori was a wonderful host and made the check-in process easy. We look forward to another stay at this house the next time we go to Smith Mountain Lake.

The perfect place for our race

The house is cute and comfy. Lori is a wonderful hostess who promptly responds to messages. We were there for a triathlon, in which the girls place 6&7 in their age group, and the house was just what we needed. We will try to get the house when we need it.

Handicap friendly

My mother is in an electric wheelchair so I was specifically looking for a property that would accommodate that. The properties layout had room for her to navigate easily. The bathroom is big also allowing for the wheelchair to maneuver. Other than the that tho there is no handicap assists but we adapted easily. It was a good weekend wedding accommodations. Thanks.

Great Lake Getaway

The space is very open with a great cross breeze when the doors are open. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to navigate. The entire place was very clean. Lori and Carl were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any issue. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
