Our large adult group loved this place. Really great having so many rooms and beds, and the amenities were great as well. The host was very responsive and professional and took care of any little issue that arose. We appreciated the attention to detail with a welcome package, firewood, stuff for making smores, etc. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay! The place was beautiful, clean, and had amazing mountain views. Julia was a wonderful host, she checked in on us to make sure everything was going well and was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

My family enjoyed a wonderful vacation week in this property. The host and communication prior to our visit made our arrival stress free. We enjoyed the family friendly games and entertainment, the hot tub (those robes were a special touch), the home theater (nice during the World Cup!), the cribs and equipment available for small children, and the nice outdoor grill and well-stocked kitchen. It was especially nice to have so many bedrooms with those plush king beds!

You are truly living among the clouds when staying at this property. There was plenty of space for our group of 18. We never felt on top of each other. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you need. Make sure you’re watching out for bears, we did see them. The home can use a bit of updating otherwise we had a lovely stay.

I was a bit surprised for the excellent rating on the property as that is not what we found. The good part was the kitchen was very well equipped; coffee was excellent and having so many masters with ensuite bathrooms was awesome. Beds and mattresses were very comfortable. The view was good. Enough seating was provided inside and on the deck. Julia was extremely responsive to all the issues.However, the property is extremely aged and not very well maintained especially on the exterior. The hot tub was barely warm. We tried to trouble shoot it but the temp did not change; the TV in the main area did not have cable and stayed that way the entire trip. Two of the master baths did not have rugs at the shower which is a hazard so we used folded up towels. suggest providing some aluminium foil and creamers in the kitchen as a courtesy. We did have a comfortable stay so it all worked out. The property looks much better in the pictures

House was just what my group needed. The size of the house far exceeded my expectations and the pictures somehow don't do it any justice. I was particularly impressed by the fully stocked kitchen. I felt it had everything you might need. The sauna and the hot tub just perfect for the winter mountain vibe. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay!

We had a great time - plenty of space for everyone and great response from host with any questions. The view is breathtaking. We were fascinated by the frog pond and number of frogs :) Hot tub and game room were great and easy access to some hiking nearby. Overall - great trip!

Excellent Mountain Get-Away

We had a fantastic time at the property for a weekend trip with 14 people. The check-in was simple, contact with the property manager was phenomenal, and the property itself provided everything we needed for the weekend. Several small details such as available coffee options, towels and other linens, and miscellaneous supplies for the grill, fire pit, and other items all made the stay easy. Not to forget, the views of the surrounding area were amazing. We would absolutely return if given the chance.

If you’re looking for a place to rent with beautiful mountain views, this is it! The spacious decks were great to hang out on all times of day or night. The adults loved the sauna, steam room and hot tub. The kiddos loved the game room and theatre. The entire home was immaculately clean! We shared big family meals at the dining table and could scatter among living areas for tv watching or relaxing time. We plan to return again next year!

Our family enjoyed our time at Skyridge Villa. The drive to the house was interesting, specifics were not given about the one lane, lots of potholes drive to and from the house. Only that in inclement weather, you would need a 4-wheel drive vehicle. In icy weather, I think it would be extremely dangerous. But the house was well-stocked and had lots to do! The view was incredible and the beds were very comfortable.The house was a little older than what the pictures showed and the outside upper deck was a little dirty, we understand it's outside in the woods, but it looked like deck could be power washed.Other than that, we had a pleasant stay. Thank you!

Amazing home!

We had a wonderful visit at this house! It is well maintained and the communication with Julia was very reponsive if we had an issue. We did see two of NC's elusive white squirrels coming up and down the road. Great long weekend!!

Spectacular home!

The home was wonderful. Well stocked, fresh linens, super fun amenities and tons of room! Only change we’d make is upgrading the 1 bath tub in the house for bathing children.

Amazing views! Perfect for a friend getaway!!

Absolutely stunning views!! The house was perfect for our party of 11 who were celebrating a 50th bday. The game room, comfy living spaces and hot tub was just what we needed for an enjoyable weekend. Spacious kitchen made meals easy to prep/serve. And loved having enough seats to all enjoy meals together at one table. Would definitely stay again!!

Fantastic house for large group

We just spent a long weekend at Skyridge Villa and the house was perfect for our large group. We had 6 adult couples and 2 extras and there was a ton of room. All of the amenities were exactly as described and everything was in great shape. Julia was extremely helpful with a few questions I had before and during our stay. We will definitely be returning!

Mountain house

The views were absolutely breathtaking. Road up was rough and very narrow. House was nicely laid out. Could use a little TLC but overall a nice vacation house
