Courtview Cottage - Bellaire MI
***Full disclosure: If you are looking for a remote, quiet house in the woods or on the lake, this may not be the property for you. We are located right downtown in the quaint but vibrant, bustling town of Bellaire MI right opposite the court house***
Courtview Cottage is a cozy, beautifully decorated and fully renovated historic house in the downtown Village Of Bellaire. Built in 1902, the house has undergone a complete two year renovation completed in 2020. The house is located directly opposite Bellaire's stunning historic landmark, Antrim County Courthouse. Courtview Cottage has been updated with all modern conveniences. The house's unique original features have been lovingly retained including original hardwood floors, stained glass windows and a gothic tower.
Courtview Cottage is located right downtown and is only a few steps to the famous craft beverage mecca's that are Shorts Brewery Company, Mammoth Distillery and Bee Well Mead & Cider. The house is also steps to the Bellaire Farmer's Market, Bellaire Movie Theater and all the other local bars, numerous excellent restaurants, boutique shopping, fairs and festivals that the quaint bustling town of Bellaire has to offer.
Only a few minutes drive to Shanty Creek Resort and Schuss Mountain for golf and skiing, Lake Bellaire, Clam Lake, Intermediate Lake and Torch Lake for boating and water sports, Glacial Hills Pathway and Nature Area and Grass River Nature Area for hiking, biking and admiring the beautiful flora and fauna of Northern Michigan. Bellaire is also a wonderful base to explore the amazing fall colors that Michigan is famous for. We are also only 30 mins to Charlevoix, Traverse City and Gaylord.
Courtview Cottage's rooms are configured as follows;
UPSTAIRS;
Bedroom one upstairs:
Sleeps 2 with a queen bed, built in closet and a 43 inch smart TV.
Bedroom two upstairs:
Sleeps 1 with a twin bed, built in closet and a 32 inch TV.
Full bathroom upstairs with bath, shower, double sinks and toilet.
DOWNSTAIRS;
Living Room with fireplace and a 43 inch smart TV.
Large dining room table that seats 8.
Fully equipped gourmet kitchen with island and all new appliances. Includes fully automatic espresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge with french doors.
Mud room with heated tiled floor and brand new stacked washer and dryer.
Powder room with sink and toilet.
Bedroom three on the main floor has a queen bed, a 43 inch smart TV, built in closet and an ensuite bathroom with a glass enclosed shower, sink and toilet.
Outside;
Large newly landscaped and fenced backyard garden with seating for relaxing.
30ft deck with outdoor seating for 8.
Gas grill.
Outdoor heater (available to guests Spring through Fall).
Outdoor automated lighting and music system for entertaining.
Vintage burn barrel fire pit area.
Huge off street parking area in rear laneway (Thayer Lane).
Fully air conditioned with tankless endless hot water system.
Keyless entry for contactless access to the house for our guests.
House is approx 1300 sq ft.

We have low stairs to our front door, back door and deck. We also have steep stairs to the first floor and as such the house is not wheelchair accessible.
