Very clean l, well supplied condo in a great location; centrally located and close to everywhere we needed to be for a family wedding. Easy check in and great communication with the owner.
Our family loves Sun Valley in this location and set up was perfect for our trip. Warm Springs has a chill vibe and we found communication with our host seamless and easy.
This was a great condo to stay and visit the resort! It is located right off the bus line, and super close to the Warm Springs lift/parking area. There is a dog park about a 5 minute down the road, and it's a great expansive park for a long stroll or game of fetch. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, convenient and quiet condo for their Sun Valley stay.
Overall our stay was pleasant and filled our need. However, I was a little put off by communication with owner. Before we arrived we received several messages with instructions such a take off shoes before entering, use coasters, no pets on furniture or bed, start laundry before leaving. Shoes off was not possible. We are old folks and need our support. (We have wood floors at home and they look a LOT better than these and everyone leaves shoes on.) Also if owner doesn't want dogs on furniture, he should not rent with dogs. If you have mobility problems, do not rent here because bathtub is very hard to get into. Last but not least, the TV didn't work and owner didn't make much of an effort to get it corrected.
My husband and I just spent a week here and really enjoyed our stay. The condo itself was perfect for us. Nothing fancy, but had basically everything we needed. The washer/dryer truly saved us. The airline lost our checked bag on the way out, so we were left with very limited clothing. We bought a few things we needed, and then just washed them every other day or so, whenever we needed to. The neighbors were quiet, didn't have any issues with loud partying or anything like that, and the condo was minutes from downtown Ketchum, which is a cute little mountain town.
We were there to hike the Sawtooths, and there were tons of hiking options both near the condo and within an hour or two drive. We were basically gone all day and really just slept there. There was a large selection of DVDs to watch, so we took advantage of those almost every night, we never watched regular TV at all.
Kent (the host) was also great and offered us several suggestions on places to dine and hike in the area. We would definitely stay there again if we ever get back to the area, which I really hope to someday!
Condo was dirty, needed repair, no AC, temp in Ketchum in mid 90s, outside area not as pictured, only one small window in living area that opened and a door in bedroom with screen, this made it difficult to cool at night.
Working with Kent was very easy. The apartment is nice and has everything you need. Very easy to take walks or hikes from the apartment or get to town.
This was a perfect location with everything we needed for a long weekend of skiing and socializing in town with local friends. The quiet street and dog park nearby made our golden retriever a happy girl.
Just the two of us and our beagle. Enjoyed the stay. Fall colors were fantastic! We primarily went for the Warm Springs Preserve Dog Park and enjoyed that as did the beagle.
The place we stayed was minimalistic but met our needs. Highly recommend Despo's Mexican Restaurant!
Minimalist basic place - worked ok for our 1 night stay. Couldnât get tv to work- didnât spend much time on it. 18 year old niece slept in fold out sofa - said it was not very comfortable.
We enjoyed staying here. The kitchen was fully stocked. It was really close to a great dog park and close to the town of Ketchum. All in all a wonderful trip!
The location is great for skiing. There are a few things that need addressing. We couldnât get hot water out of the kitchen or bathroom sink and had to run the tub water for a long time to get hot water. There also needs to be instructions by TV on how to operate all the remotes.
The property was exactly as described in the description and pictures. We picked it because it is dog friendly but decided not to bring our dog. It met all of our needs.
We stayed just one night, but nice setup and nice location. Our kids are 7 and 9. I wouldn't recommend this for groups with kids any older than this. The sleeper sofa is a bit on the small side for two kids. Otherwise, great start and great host.
I was born in raised in Ketchum-Sun Valley, My father moved to Sun Valley from Detroit as a saxophone player in 1958, and found a steady job playing music with the Hap Miller Orchestra in the Sun Valley Lodge's famous Duchin Room. My mother was also born in the Wood River Valley, and so were my grandparents. I am happy to share a little piece of my hometown with my guests, and my experiences growing up in such a wonderful place. I will encourage you to explore beyond just the towns, and get out into the mountains! There is just so much to see.
Only a block away is great place to walk, at the base of Baldy Mountain. The old Warm Springs Golf Course is now a place for and open for hiking and dogs!
