Spacious 2 BR, 1 1/2 baths, with hot tub, pool table, large full kitchen and outside room. The "outside room" invites you to relax under the twin maple trees and enjoy the hot tub, rocking chairs and porch swing in the trees, with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This property is a duplex, completely private with the 2 bedrooms and full bath located on the second floor, providing more privacy away from the main living space. The outside room with hot tub is completely enclosed with a privacy fence and is totally private and exclusive to this side of the duplex. There are no shared spaces except the parking. Just 11 minutes to nearest winery and only 20 minutes to Cedar Lake, 20 minutes to Cache River, 20 minutes to Giant City State Park and close to many wineries, this cozy home is the perfect retreat to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful Shawnee Hills.

Very nice, comfortable home and we enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. We didn't have a chance to try out the hot tub but the back deck area would have been a nice place to hang out if we had stayed there longer. It was a convenient place to stay while checking out Shawnee National Forest and Big City State Park.

Girls Getaway

Property was very clean and well stocked for all of our needs. Communication with host was easy and clear. The house was very easy to find from GPS and welcoming signs. Hot tub was clean and easy to use.

Absolutely stunning!

My fiancé and I stayed her for the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was very clean, lots of resources and was located in a quiet spot. Communication was great and just over 5 star!

Weekend getaway

This property was a perfect weekend getaway. It was charming, clean, and the property owner was easy to get a hold of when needed. It was close to the local wineries and very accommodating. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Wonderful weekend in Anna

We had a lovely time, close to wineries, cute towns, hiking etc. The hot tub and pool table made this a wonderful place to “stay in” with our little one. We were able to enjoy starview, then come back for a super relaxing stay. There’s a Kroger/walmart just a few minutes down the road, among other things, super convenient if yoy forgot anything! Had a lovely time, and found the place to be very welcoming!

Honeymoon in the woods

We went hiking in the Shawnee National Forest for our honeymoon and stayed at Twin Maples. It was a wonderful experience with the hot tub and lights.

Lovely cottage!

This was one of my favorite rentals through VRBO. Everything was spotless, the house was so cozy and quaint but still spacious, and they provide everything you might need. There was a slight hiccup with the wifi, and they responded and resolved it super fast! I would love to stay here again and do the wine trail!

Family Reunion

This house is so adorable! Our host Kathy was an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication was quick and making the reservation was easy. It was a great location, just down the street from shopping. Kathy thought of everything, it was like being home, but away from home. Any pans, utensils, or glasses you need were all right at hand. There was even coffee! We will be renting it again next year when we return for our family reunion.

Nice clean place

The property is very well-maintained and a lot of thought went into the renovations nice details, that being said,a few upgrades would make the property better. one being handicap toilets, and the use of 2ply toilet paper instead of one ply. In addition, better privacy for the hot tub area. If stairs are an issue this property has plenty.

Well maintained and cozy older home

Very clean and comfortable. Lots to entertain our 2 grandkids ages 9 and 11 after returning from a day out. Enjoyed the back sunroom and all the board games, the pool table and the hot tub. All the extras provided by the host like the quilts, the robes and all the helpful notes were great. Only thing I would mention that was in another review is would be helpful to have a pull out sofa or more sleeping options. Listing says sleeps 6 but only 2 bedrooms; one with a queen, the 2nd with a bunk bed, double on bottom and single on tope?? Beds were very comfortable though. Location was ok.

An absolute pleasure

Our stay in Anna was awesome SOLELY because of this amazing property. From the interior to the exterior and everything in between it was splendid. The space is way bigger than pictured. There’s many games in the front room with the pool table, there’s different robes for bath and for spa, the spa outside is amazing. No trouble or noise from the neighbor that the duplex is shared with. Backyard is very private. Looking at the town you wouldn’t imagine that the property would be so amazing but it’s something you just have to see to believe! Thank you so much we can’t wait to spend another weekend at this little paradise
