Lakefront Retreat on Glen Lake with Sandy Beach and 200ft dock
Updated 3850 square foot lake house on Little Glen with many amenities (cable, high speed internet, WiFi, washer and dryer, central air, private dock) Minutes to Glen Arbor and less than an hour to Traverse City and Crystal Mountain. Only minutes to the Homestead and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Arcadia Bluffs and Manitou both nearby golf courses.
Beautiful home with perfect private sandy beach for kids and boating. Well stocked kitchen. Private location. Comfortable beds. Poor air circulation in two upstairs bedrooms even with fans, but it was a particularly hot week in July. Good communication with owners and property manager. Thanks for letting us stay.
Having not seen the place and its location we were so pleased at turning down a road with a tunnel of trees and a great forest to get to the place. Leaving and entering was always fun! Lots to do in the area. Town is so close. But the house and the beach and views are so awesome thereâs no need to leave! We would highly recommend a stay here. House is clean well managed and beds are all comfortable ! Great vacation!

Everything worked out fine for our golf and fishing group. Could have used two more beds for our group of 12 males. Lakehouse was very clean and well furnished.
We canât say enough good things about the property manager, Michelle. Wow! We got notification when the property was ready, actually early. She communicated with us throughout the eeek to make sure we had a great stay. She made it super easy! The house is immaculate, spacious, sunny and beautiful! The beach area is just steps away. Weâve stayed at other homes where you had to walkover grass and debris to get down to the beach-not here-great walkway down to the dock and sand. You can easily supervise kids from the deck. The water was actually warm, even in June, partly due to the long shallows that run out from the beach. We had paddle boards and kayaks which were so fun to use. Truly made the perfect family vacation for us-we sure hope to book back here next year. PS we have been Glen lake vacationers for over 3 years with all of our other years on Big Glen. Little Glen was wonderful. We are not boaters so shallower water was a plus for us. There is swimmerâs itch in the lake, there almost always is. We toweled dry when we got out of the water and none of us got SI.
Great house on a great lake near to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Park. The lake is connected to the larger Glen Lake if you need to see a bigger lake. Many nice sites to see and beaches in the area.
This home and location are absolutely beautiful! Our family went for a long weekend and had everything we needed to enjoy a perfect vacation! The property manager made sure everything went smoothly during check-in and made themselves available if there were any problems (which there weren't!). The views, the crystal clear lake, proximity to the downtown area with a grocery store and great restaurants all made for a fantastic long weekend. We are excited to visit again in the future!
Great location near the dunes. House set up nicely for group get togethers. Best beach we have found, sand, gradual slope, for children. Beautiful lake. Good experience. DF
If youâre looking for a pristine, centrally located home to rent on Little Glen Lake, look no further. This quiet home is located on a long and secluded private drive, 1/4 mile from the National Lakeshore and Sleeping Bear Dunes amid a handful of other homes. Itâs equidistant from Empire and Glen Arbor and the home is immaculate, newly remodeled, clean, and the perfect spot for a family vacation. The kids spent hours on the sand beach and waterfront while we adults enjoyed bonfires, fishing, and use of the complimentary paddle boards and kayaks. The rental manager was attentive and friendly, also responsive to our inquiries. A big thank you to Scott and Kelly for their generosity in sharing this special location!
Sincerely,
John
The house/property is perfect if youâre looking for a nice tucked away getaway. The house is gorgeous with just enough cabin-new house look and feel. We visited in the winter, and was everything we were looking for for our family.
