Each bedroom has a queen-size bed and a twin bed. A fold-out full-size bed downstairs means seniors don't have to walk up the stairs. A shower chair is available for those who prefer to sit. Wonderful sitting area outside for cookouts! Very family-friendly for all ages! Great for family gatherings or business meetings. Sleeps 6 people. Plenty of parking, and motorcycles are welcome! Doggies, too! This Ottawa gem offers a huge dining/conference table that seats 8 for dinner.

Great weekend getaway super close to all the parks. The house was perfectly situated in walking distance to all of the restaurants and sights in Ottawa. Very comfortable home that was exactly what we needed to be able to take our pup on our adventure. Extremely affordable and clean house. Kim was very quick to respond to anything that came up during our stay. Super accommodating and friendly host! Thanks! We hope to be back for another adventure weekend.

The host, Kim, was accommodating and easy to communicate with. I asked for early check-in and later check-out (within reason), and since the place was not rented to others, she graciously accepted.The townhouse was clean and supplied with all the stated accessories. Perhaps, a little more dishwashing fluid and bathroom soaps would be great.The neighborhood was quite during our stay and the townhouse was conveniently located within a walking distance of downtown Ottawa.The only reason I rated it 4/5 was the kitchen cabinets and the doors to the 2nd floor bathroom and the closets were quite old, and some didn't work well. Bathroom door handle and lock need to be repaired.

This listing was rather unusual which was only the tip of the iceberg for the stay experience. First of all, this listing is for a unit in a multi-unit building. Technically a townhouse, but that detail is buried in the details of a listing for "entire home." This is a two-story unit attached to two other units so expect neighbor noise.Second, this unit needs A LOT of work. It has a slightly creepy vibe that I can't really explain. The decor is very unusual and mismatched making it feel like a summer cabin rather than a home. The mattresses are both covered in crinkly protective covers so it feels and sounds like sleeping on a diaper. There are religious pamphlets or books on the end tables and nightstands, and fashion magazines with someone's name and address labels still on them everywhere else.Third, the day we arrived, I got a text saying the lockbox was broken so the key would be in the jar by the back door. If I can, I'll post a picture of that less than secure detail.Third, it is bare bones in terms of guest-friendly items. Only the most basic items are included so don't plan to cook or cut a pizza. All the other kitchen cabinets are filled with crumbs and dirty condiments. Finally, this place needs a DEEP cleaning including the carpets. The worst condition I've had from any rental. The bathroom soap dispensers were dirty and only 1/4 full. The "Dawn" in the kitchen was about 90% water which isn't great when the dishes have to be handwashed. We left a day early.
