Perfect place for a crowd to relax

This home is in a beautiful, private setting with lots of trees and a walk path by horses and ponds. This is a house with comfortable accommodations for 4 couples with king size beds so we were all happy. There are a few steps that must be negotiated to enter the home but the garage entrance has lots of railings and can be managed by elderly who are not wheelchair bound and can climb small steps. There is a delightful, outside, quiet space in the middle of the house by a fire pit fo those who want to just chat and a big screen TV on the inside for others. It has lots of eating space and the outdoor area by the pool is lovely. I highly recommend this home for multiple couples traveling together!

Wonderful stay at Blue Mermaid

My family and I had a wonderful week staying at Blue Mermaid in Sea Pines. The house was beautiful- immaculately maintained, stocked with everything we needed, and conveniently located to all of the amenities in Sea Pines. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for dinner at home and the garage had every sand toy the kids could have wanted. The pool in the backyard was amazing during the very hot week. The kids absolutely loved playing in it every day. After dinner, we walked to the horse stables to feed the horses. The iTrip team was easy to deal with and extremely responsive. We had the best week at the Blue Mermaid and cannot wait to return.

Lovely house

The house and setting are lovely. The house has everything you can possibly need! It would work well for a couples vacation or for a family with children. We definitely recommend this vacation home and give it 5 ⭐️’s!!

Blue Mermaid stay

We had a fabulous stay at this property! It was perfect for a party of 7 and could have accommodated more comfortably. It was stocked with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub/outdoor area was our favorite. Comfortable outdoor seating and perfect for dinners and lunches. The house was very roomy and beds so comfortable. Itrip representatives we very quick reply with any questions I had. We will definitely use this property for future visits to Hilton Head.

Wonderful Stay!

What a fantastic way to to get an early start on spring and the golf season. We were a group of six adults from the Midwest who spent nearly a week in mid March 2026 at Blue Mermaid in Sea Pines. Four golfers and two non golfers. Proximity to too many golf courses to count as well as great and convenient shopping, restaurants and more. Easy walking and biking trails with access to nature preserve areas, great views of the stables and close to the wonderful long beaches.

This home is in a great location and a beautiful neighborhood but I woul not recommend staying here. The reviews for this home were all 10/10 when I booked it, so I was surprised by the issues I encountered. The house needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. There were cobwebs in many corners; bugs and dust in the air vents, on the beam in the living room, and on the sloped walls under the skylights. The carpets were vacuumed but had a lot of stains on them and were honestly gross. There was grease built up on the grill to the point that it was unusable. To the property manager's credit, the regulator was broken on the grill when I arrived; they sent someone to the house to repair it. I was surprised they didn't service the grill completely when they were there; it looked as if it had never been cleaned. We didn't use the grill. The ceiling fans in two rooms were broken and could not be repaired while we were there. The host requests that you not cool the house below 72 degrees without working ceiling fans; that temperature was an issue for my group. The property manager dropped off two box fans when I asked for help with this. Overall, the value was not there in this house. Kitchen pans were worn out. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The washer and dryer are very old. Almost all the lights are bright white, and there are no dimmers, so the dining table feels like a cafeteria. The property management group is responsive and available via call or text.

Immaculate Gorgeous Coastal Home

Blue Mermaid has a gorgeous coastal vibe-comfy and stylish furnishings, art that has "local color" reflecting the island culture and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Large dining room table, more casual kitchen area table and deck table for outside dining. Bathrooms are updated and very nice. The space was great for six adults (could definitely accommodate 8 adults ) and there are also kid/teen friendly sleeping spaces. There is however even more to the property that we enjoyed. The landscaping is just exquisite-including bird houses and feeders to attract visitors. There is a very cool internal courtyard with a fire table for chilly evenings and the back yard is just amazing. Private two level deck, a pool and hot tub/spa. Twinkle lights make an evening swim or star gazing from the hot tub very inviting. The home was immaculate when we arrived-sheets, blankets, towels were lovely. Plenty of TV's for watching -it was a big sports week. We hope to return-thanks to our hosts for making such a great spot available!

We had a last minute 2 night stay and the house was perfect. Very accommodating, pool/deck area was wonderful and there’s a lot of space.
