Where cosy meets coastal ~ Step inside to a light-filled open-plan living, kitchen, and dining zone that spills out onto a private backyard - complete with festoon lights, a fire pit, outdoor dining, BBQ, and a lawn for games and pets to play. Saltys is the kind of home where balmy summer evenings linger long past sunset, and cool winter nights are spent curled up by the indoor fireplace.

Upstairs, two loft-style Queen bedrooms offer peaceful escapes:
The master bedroom gazes across the rolling Fleurieu hills, glowing at golden hour.
The second bedroom captures peekaboo ocean views, reminding you just how close you are to the sand.
A second toilet upstairs adds extra ease for families and couples.

Saltys features a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom along with thoughtful touches - luxury linens, calming textures, soft sheers and a palette inspired by the coast.

Outside, an enclosed yard makes it easy for pets to roam safely and the carport plus private entrances provide convenience and privacy.

You`ll have Saltys all to yourself during your stay. Our home is a little duplex with the most loveliest of neighbours and is designed for your privacy.

Aldinga Beach is one of the few beaches in Australia where cars are permitted to drive on sections of the broad sand, making access to the beach especially easy. It is renowned for its safe swimming, expansive sandy areas and extremely family friendly which sees the population in the local area boom come summer. Come winter, we enjoy a slower pace of life and the beach is closed to cars. We see guests coming for the cosy, relaxed lifestyle and enjoying brisk beach walks with views of the rolling green hills and stormy seas.

A little patch of seaside bliss less than an hour from Adelaide and mere minutes from McLaren Vale’s award-winning wineries. A popular year-round destination, Aldinga Beach embraces a friendly and welcoming community. Local cafes and eateries offer a taste of the region`s culinary delights, allowing you to savor fresh seafood, great coffee and local produce while enjoying the coastal atmosphere.

Trails at Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park take in dunes, rare orchids, echidna anteaters and birdlife, and nearby Thomas Street Reserve is a grassy seaside picnic spot. The relaxed dining scene consists of cafes, pubs, fish-and-chip shops and world class restaurants with incredible views. Wineries in the nearby McLaren Vale region offer tours, tastings and long lunches. Tourists and locals alike flock to the famous Willunga Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

It is great to have a car for exploring the area and doing day trips to all the amazing places you can access easily from Aldinga Beach. However public transport is just a short walk away should you need it and we can help advise local tour guides for winery tours etc!

For the littles, a portacot and highchair is available on request, please let us know before your stay. Please bring along a cot sheet.

All linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided. Fire wood is provided May-October.
~ Additional 4 persons as DAY visitors allowed - Max 4 persons overnight. Please contact us to discuss if these requirements do not fit your needs.

~ Quiet time between 9pm and 9am, no loud music or voices at anytime. Please respect our wonderful neighbours.

~ Pets allowed. Please be sure to add a pet to your booking. Pets not allowed on furniture or bedding, additional cleaning fees may apply. Please clean the yard up after your pets and do not leave pets home alone.

~ No parties or events.
