The Space:

Welcome to our sunny Matipo Retreat, a warm and inviting cottage perfectly suited for families or small groups visiting Taupō. The property is fully fenced, offering peace of mind for families with little ones, and has off-street parking available in the driveway.



Enjoy the sunny backyard and front yard, ideal for relaxing outdoors or letting the kids run around and play. Inside, the home features an equipped kitchen, a comfortable dining and lounge area with a Smart TV, and everything you need for a relaxed stay.



The master bedroom offers a king bed, while the second bedroom includes a bunk bed and a single bed, comfortably sleeping up to five guests. A newly renovated bathroom with a laundry area adds extra convenience for longer stays.



Located just a short drive from Taupō town centre, the house is also close to the Paetiki Shops area, where you’ll find a supermarket, restaurants, and takeaway options.



Outdoor enthusiasts will love being near the Spa Thermal Park, where you can walk the scenic trail to Huka Falls and enjoy the natural hot pools at Otumuheke Stream. For thrill-seekers, the Taupō Bungy, New Zealand’s highest cliff-top jump, is just minutes away, while AC Baths, a family-friendly thermally heated pool complex, is also nearby.

Valid Sunday–Thursday this month only. Excludes weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. Free night must be requested when booking. You will need to book the first two nights, and we will reserve the third one separately for you to enjoy.



Guest Rules:



No parties, smoking, or pets.

Keep noise indoors and minimal after 10 pm.



Amenities:



Highchair & Cot Availability: We have a limited number, please request before booking to avoid disappointment - Bedding for the cot is not provided.

Starter kit of essentials: Tea, coffee (instant), sugar, oil, salt & pepper, milk, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, dishwashing tablets, rubbish bags, shampoo & body wash, hand wash, toilet paper.

Professional linen provided and one body towel per guest (no facecloths).
