The View at Kingston Beach

Welcome to The View, a relaxed yet refined coastal escape just 15 minutes from Hobart’s CBD. Recently renovated and thoughtfully decorated, every space is designed to maximise the stunning vistas over Kingston Beach. Spend sunny mornings on the internal patio, watch a movie in the upstairs TV room, or gather around the 12-seater dining table for long, leisurely meals. With room for up to 11 guests, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends.

The home spans multiple levels. The top floor features a king master suite with sweeping ocean views and an additional queen room. The first floor offers a queen room overlooking the deck and a triple king-single bunk room with a full bathroom. On the ground floor, a king bedroom with ensuite and partial sea views completes the sleeping arrangements.

At the heart of the house, the kitchen and living area is bright, spacious, and fully equipped, with a large fridge with filtered water, a double Belling oven with induction cooktop, and an adjoining BBQ area for alfresco dining. Entertainment comes naturally here, with a pool table and a working pianola to keep things lively while you cook or unwind. After a day exploring, retreat upstairs to the TV room with its large smart screen for movie nights.

Kingston Beach is just a short walk away (or quick drive), while local favourites like Robbie Browns, Boho at the Beach, and Zero81 Napoli are close by. On Sundays, enjoy live music and a laid-back vibe at the Salty Dog.

Please note: the home sits atop a steep drive and has 35 steps across its three levels. This elevation delivers the incredible views, but may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. Before booking, review our house rules — parties, excessive noise, and smoking are not permitted, and fines may apply for breaches.
