Just a short walk from the building are some of Brisbane’s best restaurants, gardens/parklands and entertainment districts. Just a five minute walk down the road from Brisbane Skytower is the heritage listed City Botanical Gardens, with stunning nature walks and beautiful scenery. While immersed in the tranquil beauty of these gardens you can easily forget you are just minutes from the City Centre.



If you are looking for some excellent dining experiences, Felons Brewery has some of Brisbane’s finest dining restaurants and is less than 15 minutes’ walk from Skytower. With outstanding culinary options, and superb views over the Brisbane River and under the famous Story Bridge, you won’t leave disappointed.



An alternate option, slightly more relaxed but of equal quality and beauty, is the Southbank Dining District, only a 10-20 minute walk or drive away across the Brisbane River, with excellent restaurants and dining options and suitable for the whole family.



If you are looking for something to do after dinner you have the buzzing entertainment hub that is the Southbank parklands, located right on the Brisbane River. There is plenty to keep you busy with a wide range of bars, pubs, night markets and entertainment such as the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Gallery of Modern Art, Science Centre and Wheel of Brisbane.



For those shopping enthusiasts, Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall and the Wintergarden is only a short 10 minute walk from Brisbane Skytower. With all the designer and retail stores you know and love in one convenient location, there is sure to be something for everyone.



If watching live sport action is more up your alley, then you’re in luck, with Suncorp Stadium only a ten minute drive from Brisbane Skytower. Here you can catch, The Brisbane Broncos, The Queensland Reds and the Brisbane Roar, as well as the Wallabies, The Australian Kangaroos and the Queensland Maroons at the State of Origin games when they are in town. Some of the biggest concerts by some of the world’s biggest stars are also held here throughout the year. If you are looking to watch some cricket or AFL, The Gabba is the place to be and is only a quick six minute drive from Brisbane Skytower across the river to Woolloongabba.



Getting Around:

If you hired a car Avis and Budget drop off is just around the corner. Next to BWS in Albert Street.



CityCat is an easy way to travel up and down the river.



Buses and trains are just a 5 minute walk away connecting you all around Brisbane plus up and down the north and south coasts.



Uber is a very convenient way to move around town.
