With two peaceful bedrooms, it suits couples, small groups, or families looking to recharge by the sea. The first bedroom has a king bed and the second has two king singles.



The Space:

With two peaceful bedrooms, it suits couples, small groups, or families looking to recharge by the sea. Guests are welcome to bring their own linen. If you'd prefer to do so, just let us know ASAP and we’ll refund any automatic linen hire fees that may have been applied.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire house and outdoor deck, including all amenities — kitchen, laundry, BBQ, and secure parking, including a lockup spot for the boat. Self check-in makes arrival easy, so you can settle in and enjoy the beach right away.



The Neighborhood:

Located right on beautiful Pōhara Beach, Sea-esta is just minutes from local cafés, restaurants, and shops. You're close to Golden Bay’s top attractions, with walking trails, art galleries, and scenic drives nearby. The Pōhara Boat Club is just 5 minutes away for easy access to fishing, boating, and water sports.



Getting Around:

We recommend having a car to explore the area — Golden Bay’s gems are spread out, and parking is free at the house. Takaka is just 10 minutes away. Bike and kayak rentals are also available nearby if you're keen to explore by land or sea.



Other Things to Note:

This is a true beachfront property — you may occasionally get wind or salt spray, so we recommend keeping doors closed on breezy days.

The deck is elevated and unfenced at the edge — please supervise children at all times.

A basic starter pack of tea, coffee, and toiletries is provided. For longer stays, you may need to top up.

The house is self-catering. We kindly ask guests to clean BBQs after use and leave sandy shoes outside.

Mobile reception is generally good, and WiFi is reliable for browsing and streaming.

Self check-in is available via a secure key lockbox. Check-in instructions will be provided before arrival.

This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is only permitted outside, away from open doors and windows.
