Incredible mountain getaway

I stayed here with my wife and our three children. The home is beautiful. It was tidy and well equipped. A short drive to both highlands and cashiers. Hosts were great. Definitely will stay again.

Perfect area location + Pet friendly

Centrally located between Lake Glenville, Highlands & Cashiers sits this beautiful, peaceful home. Basically 3 suites on the main floor= just the front steps at entry. Reggie was super responsive and graciously pup friendly! Definitely planning to visit again.

Wonderful Stay!

This is a beautiful home in a fabulous location- easy driving distance to both Cashiers and Highlands. Our family thoroughly enjoyed hiking, zip lining and exploring during the day, evenings on the screen porch and nights spent chatting in front of the fireplace. The house is very well-quipped and the hosts were incredibly responsive when we had questions. We look forward to returning!

Perfect Vacation

Our family of 6 adults stayed 3 nights in this beautiful mountain home. The split masters and additional bedroom upstairs gave everyone their space and privacy. Relaxing by the fire on the screened porch was a highlight. The home was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome stay near Highlands!

Beautiful house with great views 15 minutes away from both Highlands and Cashiers. Wonderful setup, especially the fireplaces, great room, outdoor spaces and screened porch. The kitchen was fully-stocked and we used it every day. The owners were exceptionally responsive and easy to deal with with. If we’re ever in the area again, this is the house we’ll be in!

Mountain Retreat

We were seeking a cabin in the mountains and found this gem - it was everything and more! The decor gives it a perfect cabin feel, the wrap porch is amazing with gorgeous sunrise views, and the rooms are very spacious. Our kids loved the upstairs beds and playing in the open area, the fireplace was a hit every night for cozying up after a day of hiking, there was a little trail around the house for the kids to explore and the location was perfect - you felt like you were at a retreat yet not too far from the cute little towns of Highlands & Cashiers. There is even a perfect mountain-esq General Store close to the house! The owners were incredibly helpful with all of our questions. We can't wait to return!

Wonderfully relaxing week in the Mountains

My family and I had the such a wonderful time in the mountains this past week! Everything about this house is great! It is located in a perfect area between Cashiers, Highlands and Lake Glenville. We enjoyed exploring the many various hiking trails close by, renting a boat on lake Glenville, and walking around highlands and cashiers. Although the weather was quite rainy this house is perfect to enjoy reading a good book on the porch or playing games. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. We absolutely love the neighborhood and cannot wait to stay here again in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful mountain home !!

Luxury Mountain Escape

2/28/21 This property made for the perfect weekend with our friends for a quick getaway. Having two master suites with king beds on the main level is the main reason we chose the property. We hit the jackpot! Both masters (on opposite ends of the house) were plenty big & the same size ... both have private baths with huge walk in showers and double vanities. This luxury rental is in a secluded, gated neighborhood ( code required for entry ) with very few homes. I would not even call it a subdivision. It is an exclusive mountaintop retreat with a trout pond on the private property. The views are amazing from the top of the mountain. The gourmet kitchen made preparing meals something we enjoyed. The outdoor grill also allowed us to enjoy some really great steaks one night. We drove down to Highlands ( 20 min ) for some shopping and dinner at Wolfgang‘s. Another night, we rode down the mountain to Cashiers (15 minutes ) for dinner at The Orchard. Both meals were outstanding and worthy of all the accolades and write ups. Reservations are definitely needed and we look forward to going back. There is an extra large big screen, smart tv in the family room . The Wi-Fi in the area is not very strong, so if you are needing to do work on a computer a personal hotspot is recommended. We also loved the flexibility of a real wood burning fireplace inside the den and outside on the screened porch. Firewood is stocked on the side porch & renters are charged based on how much you use. There is another queen bedroom on the main level with an attached bathroom & the loft offers another private queen bedroom. The loft also has 2 twin beds in the open area ( could be pushed together for a king ). The loft area boasts it’s own private bath with a HUGE walk-in shower. We didn’t need all the extra space but know this house is perfect if we want to bring more people with us next time. The property owner, Reggie, was so accommodating and able to help with all of our questions. We look forward to renting the property again. Andrea Christiansen Chapin, SC

Home is beautifully appointed and very well equipped. Even though it is in a gated community, it feels very private. Parking for 4 vehicles. Clean with comfortable bedding. Would absolutely stay again.

Exceptional home for couples or families

The home’s pictures and description do not adequately descript this wonderful mountain home! From many years of renting vacations homes in the mountains, beaches and islands this is certainly in top tier of our experiences. We loved the architecture, open plan with high ceiling and dynamic fireplaces. Large bedrooms and an exceptionally well stocked kitchen. High quality bedding, linens and toiletries were in keeping with a high-end hotel. Out host was great and responsive to ensue out stay was perfect. If you go to Cashiers do not miss this beautiful home for you stay. Reserve early!

Great home for our family vacation

We enjoyed all aspects. The screened porch with fireplace was our favorite part. Also the bedroom layout was ideal with a master suite on one side of house and another king bedroom and queen bedroom on other side for parents and kids. The kitchen was very nice and we cooked in every night.

Heaven in the Highlands

This property was even more amazing than the listing...if that could be possible. A stunning luxurious home, with every amenity one could ever desire. Beautiful decor, very comfortable, and enough space for everyone. The hosts are beyond generous, informative, and just so kind. It was truly heaven on earth and so thankful to have had such a wonderful visit.

Best Mountain Cabin Experience

The property was amazing, gigantic, and very accommodating for our entire family. Comfortable and quiet, the cabin felt like home. The views were awesome. The private community provided lots of privacy. A 10 out of 10 in every way!
