King Size Bed, big closets, free internet, nice fenced yard, carport, lanai, quite neighborhood, convenient to shopping, beaches, Warm Mineral Springs and centrally located in the state. Disney is 2.5 hours away. Ft Lauderdale is 3 hours. Tampa/St Pete 1.5 hours. Sarasota is 40 minutes. Great reviews!

Dogs Considered: tell me about your one or two small to med size pooches. Sorry, no cats.

PAYMENT:
1st payment due at booking (50% of rent and all fee's)
2nd payment due 60 days before 1st day of occupancy (second half of rent).

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cancel at least 30 days before check-in you will get a 100% refund. If you cancel between 14 to 30 days before check-in, you'll get a 50% refund. If less than 14 days I will refund all fee's and I will attempt to rent the house. You will receive a rent refund equal to my ability to rent it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Ric was a wonderful host and very accomodating. He provided everything we needed and checked in on us after arrival. The property is located close to everything you need for day to day living: restaurants, shopping, groceries. We found a great bakery and fresh produce market on the corner by the house. The Blue Tequila restaurant and Anna Maria Oyster Bar are close by and the food is fabulous at both! It is a bit of a travel to get to beaches, but well worth it if you are a beach lover. We found more shells than we needed...LOL and a dozen or so shark teeth. Downtown Wellen Park is about a 15 minute drive and we went every Sunday for their lovely farmers market, enjoyed to Friday night FREE concerts as well as FREE line dancing and yoga schedules throughout the week. A great find! If you are looking for a place to exercise the Morgan Family Community Center had excellent equipment and was about a 6 minute drive away. Overall, the home was a great find!

I love that you wrote about the local gems and finds of the area- especially the food. I’d like to add to that Abbe‘s Donuts in the same strip as the bakery and fresh produce market mentioned. I didn’t know about the farmers market in Wellan Park.I can’t wait to see that myself. North Port is so rich in low-key finds that if more people knew the traffic would be horrific! Karen, thank you so much for taking great care of my house and watering the plants. You and your husband are the kind of tenants landlord’s dream about. Hurry back!

I spent two wonderful Months in Northport Fl. Ric is a premier Host, and I found that to be exceptionally true. The house is great, as advertised, and Ric will do whatever is possible to make the stay enjoyable. I look forward to coming back and staying again.

Adorable house, great location

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute little home. We found it to be cozy and comfortable for the two of us and our little dog. I especially enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood and relaxing in the fenced back yard with my pooch. Ric has done a great job setting it up with everything you need and is very responsive to any issues that may arise. We would happily stay here again in the future.

Cute and cozy

My husband and I stayed here while we were looking for a home. It was conveniently located to any shops we needed and I75. The home had everything we needed, right down to beach towels. Ric was very accommodating and allowed for our fur babies to stay with us while we were there. The large fenced in yard was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this property!

Great month in December

Everything was better than expected. Very well equipped home. Location is centrally located for a great work/vacation. Convenient shopping, parks, kayaking launch spots, bicycle trails, hiking trails, fishing, a safe neighborhood for evening walks, and a great host. Lets not forget about the incredible beaches within 30 minutes of the house. (Venice, Manasota Key, and must see Boca Grande.)

Perfect Spot

We relocated to Florida and needed somewhere to stay temporarily and this place was perfect! It had everything we needed all we needed were our clothes. The back yard is awesome and the lanai is amazing to sit and listen to the rain. Ric was a wonderful host and was there to answer any questions we had. It was so close to everything but yet not right in the middle of all the traffic. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We spent several months at Ric’s house while building our own. It’s a neighborhood of old Florida homes, very quiet with friendly neighbors...including wood storks! Ric was easy to reach and always available to help with issues. Home was very clean and beautifully renovated with the original 1960’s vibe. Beaches 20 minutes away, UTC mall in Sarasota 35 minutes, and everything else you need just around the corner.

Extremely easy checkin to well appointed and extremely clean, lovely property. Nice fenced in yard for my dogs to run around in. Kitchen is well equipped. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Spent two comfortable months here during a stressful house hunt and was very happy to have this wonderful place to come to each day. Ric is a very nice and accommodating host.

A wonderful home to escape winter!

I worked remote here for a 2 month escape from winter in Michigan and it was the ideal location and arrangement. The house is well-equipped and tastefully decorated. A very comfortable spot for my husband, myself and my dog with a cozy bed, super comfortable living room and dining furniture, and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was in working order, clean and modern. The fenced back yard was a joy for my dog to explore, play and run zoomies safely and securely. The desk worked out perfectly for my remote computer job, except being so close to the kitchen prompted a bit too many snack breaks, lol! It's centrally located for easy access to Venice, Manasota Key Beach, Punta Gorda, Ft. Myers. Only a little bit further and you can drive to Sarasota or south to Naples for a day or weekend getaway. Quiet neighborhood was perfect for my morning walks. There are two dog parks nearby along with a nature preserve and state forest for hiking. Conveniences in shopping and dining are minutes away. The North Port Aquatic Center is 5 minutes away with 4 different pools and a low daily fee for non-residents. Ric was the perfect host - always available for questions or concerns and respectful of the privacy of his tenants. Will definitely try to book again! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

My house is in close to everything. So many Gulf beaches to choose from (the closest is Manasota Beach in Englewood- 20 minutes, free parking and brand new amenities), and 2 miles to Warm Mineral Springs.

Slightly further are Venice Beaches, , Boca Grande and Lido and Siesta Key beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world. Punta Gorda Bay, Ft Meyers, Tampa and St Pete are an hour or more and Disney is 2.5 hours! Sarasota culture is only 35 minutes.

Restaurants and ALL shopping needs are within 2 miles. Truly the MOST convenient area around.
