The newly renovated, fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, cooktop, microwave, etc. and is open plan to the lounge area.

The bedroom is bright and sunny and leads out to your own private deck, while the ensuite bathroom is simply heavenly!

The cottage is airconditioned and wifi is complimentary.



The space
Bayside Cottage is a fully self-contained free-standing 1-bedroom cottage with a queen-size bed and a double-size sofa bed. The cottage is airconditioned and can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 little kids, or 2 adults and 1 teenager or a 3rd adult.

The new kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, oven, stove top, microwave and fridge/freezer.

The kitchen is fitted out with the usual cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. To make your stay more comfortable, we've also provided you with an airfryer, coffee machine, and the usual kettle, toaster, ironing board and iron, etc.

You'll enjoy ample wardrobe space and a gorgeous, lux ensuite bathroom with fresh towels, a hair-dryer, hand lotion, handwash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

Start your day with brekkie on your own, private alfresco deck, or enjoy the bird life while you're sipping cocktails or having dinner outside on the deck.

In the mood for a dip in the Bay? With Wellington Point Reserve and King Island an easy 20 minutes walk (or 5 minute drive) away, you'll be swimming in no time, just bring your own beach towels. Or pack a picnic and enjoy dinner under the stars with the water gently lapping in the background.

For the times you don't feel like cooking, simply take a 5-minute stroll into the forever-buzzing Wellington Point Village and feast on Indian, Thai, Mexican or Italian cuisines, or even grab a quick takeaway of cooked seafood, Indian food. pizza or fish and chips; with approximately a dozen eateries you're really spoiled for choice.

Time for a drink? The locals enjoy hanging out at Hogan's (aka "The Wello") and the Sports Bar is usually buzzing with locals and visitors alike.

The Village bakery bakes the most delicious loves of bread, bread rolls and pies, and you can buy your milk, soft drinks, snacks and other last-minute goods at Foodworks. Alternatively, Woolies is only 10 minutes up the road, where you will also find yet more restaurants, shops, pubs, ATMs and banks.

The ferry to Stradbroke Island is only a short drive away, as is Redland Hospital, so Bayside Cottage is ideal if you'll be working at either. The train station is only a few minutes away, and there's a bus service up the road.

Whether you're looking for long-term accommodation, a beach side holiday or a weekend getaway, Bayside Cottage is the ideal place to put your feet up and forget about the world.
