This modern spacious air-conditioned, 2 bedroom (1 Queen + 1 Single), 1 bathroom cottage boasts an excellent, quiet position on a paved, quiet road. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and electric oven. There is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom along with an air conditioner. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. Linen is provided, just bring your beach towels! The front enclosed veranda is a great spot to catch the morning sun and enjoy a cuppa to start your day or just stroll down through the orchard and take a seat to unwind and relax.

There is plenty of room to park your boat and car off the street, ensuring convenience during your stay. If you have your own boating vessel (or wish to hire) the harbour boasts excellent ramps for easy access to Hervey Bay's waterways. The River Heads boat ramp is a short drive away if you prefer fishing the Mary and Susan River systems.

The Cottage is situated only kms from Hervey and all its delights ... botanical gardens and orchid house, views and access to K'gari Island, plentiful restaurants and quiet sandy beaches. You are only a few kms from the Bay's famous pier (excellent for fishing), shady esplanade bikeways and walking tracks. For the less active visitors there are a variety of grassed picnic/playground areas, restaurants, casual dining, coffee shops and eateries. Hervey Bay boasts a vibrant marina and here you will find a selection of shops and restaurants including the renowned Boat Club and access to whale watching tours.

For biking enthusiasts or hikers the Hervey Bay to Maryborough Rail Trail is a must do!

The cottage is within easy driving distance of the many attractions in the surrouding areas and is also ideally situated to the main sporting grounds in Hervey Bay.

We choose not to charge an additional rate for peak seasons so the The Cottage is not another crazy cost for holiday times. Please respect us by booking (and therefore paying) for the correct number of guests.
