The space
Nestled just 5km from Raglan village, this property offers a truly special getaway. Surrounded by lush gardens and sheltered mature trees, it provides privacy and tranquility while being a short distance from the main beach.

The house is full of character and charm. Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area features a unique Japanese-style platform. This level also includes two cozy bedrooms and a bathroom with an idyllic outdoor bath. Upstairs, you’ll find the master bedroom, another bathroom, a fun bedroom with a loft bed, and a spacious office area.

The grounds are expansive and feel like a private park, with established trees teeming with birdlife and a gentle stream visible from the house (please supervise young children near the water). Outdoor amenities include a hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge (BYO ice for an invigorating ice bath!) for a resort-like experience.

For families, there’s plenty to keep kids entertained, including a skate ramp, trampoline, monkey bars, and trees to climb. The outdoor space also features a BBQ, firepit, and ample seating for al fresco dining and lounging.

During colder months, cozy up by the fireplace, enjoy board games, or watch movies on the projector for a relaxed evening indoors.

Other things to note
There is a beautiful stream on the property, which is unfenced, so please keep a close eye on toddlers and young children.

The upstairs double loft bed requires a reasonably sturdy climb, so it may not be ideal for elderly guests or those with mobility challenges.
