Incredible hosts! They were so helpful and accommodating. It was a charming rustic cottage feel woth all the amenities of modern living. Can't wait to go back next summer!
My two daughters and I spent a long weekend at Amirâs âLittle Heavenâ, and what a paradise it is! Beautiful cottage, amazing old barn with friendly horses, sheep, goats, chickens and a llama! Amir and his wife are very hospitable and helpful. We biked the Ganaraska Forest, walked the farm trail down by the creek, and swam in their ânaturalâ swimming hole. What a truly wonderful place to stay. We highly recommend it!
fantastic location, great setting, we left Amir a note with a few suggestions. This is a farm hand house that has been totally renovated (the picture needs to be updated). The living area is great, adequate kitchen supplies, large dining table under a new window, 2 couches for watching TV (we did have some difficulty navigating the TV system but it was unfamiliar to us) having Prime TV was a nice feature. We were there in a heat wave and the AC set to 74 kept the place very comfortable. The bedroom with the single bed was great for our grandson. the larger bedroom with the queen bed was very tight, remember it was built in the time when the norm was a double bed for a couple. The bath was compact but acceptable. Laundry in the well insulated basement is compact (small loads only). We did not use the washer side but did rinse a few things out and put them in the spinner which worked great. You are on a farm, it was great wandering watching chickens, goats, sheep and horses, and picking a few berries and sour cherries as we wandered. We were there for a race at Mosport (15 minutes away) so did not spend much time at the house but Amir did offer to show us where trails and the river were. the Wi-Fi was spotty in the house but great outside. We enjoyed our stay here.
