Architecture by SMPL Design Studio, this fully detached guesthouse suite has been meticulously constructed as a labor of love. This incredible space will captivate you with its soaring cathedral ceilings, natural use of light and stunning building materials. The gourmet kitchen is the focal point of the space just incase you decide to forego the amazing restaurants and cafes only steps away.

The space:

Ideal for couples or solo travelers the coach house loft accommodates an open concept living, dining and kitchen area - offering guests a spacious modern vibe paying tribute to the exterior architecture.

The lounge - Next to a massive 10' triple pane soundproof window is a cozy seating area complete with wall mounted 4K OLED tv, gas fireplace and RetroPie gaming station with over 2500 nostalgic games to enjoy on those cozy/stormy nights. Dimmable LED pot lights above provide you with tunable ambiance while the atmosphere is kept fresh and comfortable thanks to a state of the art HRV/air-sourced heat pump system that is whisper quiet.

The kitchen - completely custom and fully equipped. Crafted with white quartz counters, grain matched white oak cabinetry and dining counter. Complete with dishwasher, induction range, inverter microwave and French door style fridge/freezer with built-in ice maker. All major appliances are high end and brand new for your enjoyment, including a dedicated washer/dryer located within the main living space.

The bath - beautifully designed for convenience and relaxation. The floating vanity is fully stocked with miscellaneous items just incase. The rain head shower and dedicated tankless water heater will guarantee a relaxing experience for as long as you desire.

The bed - a firm yet supple double bed with posturepedic mattress supports weary travelers with soft cotton jersey sheets and assortment of pillows to help whisk you off to sleep. The built-in wardrobe allows you to unpack your suitcase and organize yourself to feel right at home.

The office - a private workspace dedicated to those working on the road.

This incredible urban retreat is located in the heart of the Kirkendall neighbourhood - steps away from trendy Locke st., bus stops, bike shares, markets, nature trails, waterfalls and some of the best cafe's/restaurants the city has to offer!

Guest access
The guest residence is accessed via sidewalk from the main house that has direct access to street parking during your stay.

**Please Note** The backyard patio area and rear alley gates are off limits to guests unless approved by your hosts in advance of your stay.
