This is a wonderful house in a great location with all the amenities. If we're back in Te Anau next year as I expect we will be, we'll be staying here again.
Lovely, spacious, airy, light accommodation.Clean, good communication and great views.Very quiet location but walkable to shops and eateries. Excellent stay. Highly recommend
We were here for a wedding, accommodation was just what we needed for our family needs, (although table tennis did get a little competitive!) We hope to come back
This was a very nice place to stay while visiting the Milford Sound. We loved having 4-bedrooms, and washing equipment. The main level was very nice and met our needs. We did a lot of our own cooking, and would have appreciated a better skillet/knives and access to a corkscrew.
The perfect home and location for a wonderful Southland holiday. Well appointed home with very comfy beds in convenient location! Keen to return and highly recommend. Host most helpful on every occasion.
Gordon emigrated from the South of England UK in 1994. Viv is from Cheviot N. Canterbury NZ. We have two children Ellen 31 and Ben 28 both overseas currently ! As a family we have traveled to many places in the world and so we understand the rigors of travel and the requirements of a traveler ! Gordon is a farm consultant based in Southland .
When we purchased the property we felt in touch with the bush on the mountains across Lake Te Anau and loved the freedom feel that Fiordland offers ! When you see the views you will understand the connection with the bush ! The house is so close to town ( 8 minute walk ) and 5 minutes to the lake shoreline.
Short walk to book 3 world class walks , jet and leisure boating, flying trips and helicopter rides ! The township is small and very intimate if you visit on the shoulders of the season !
We have a washing machine and dryer and would ask you to bring your own laundry powder and put a donation in jar for use of the dryer please !
