Welcome to The Quarters, a thoughtful restoration of the old servants quarters in this historic 19th century building. With many of the impressive original features left in place such as the flagstone floor, cast iron stove, coal chute and remnants of the original paintwork and wiring offering you a chance to immerse yourself in a perfect blend of history, culture and modern comfort. Reimagined by a local award winning architect, this unique stay is only minutes from the centre of Hobart.
The Space:
Discover the magic of Hobart from our beautifully renovated 19th-century lower level apartment with a modern twist. A thoughtful renovation of the old servants quarters, our apartment offers a glipse of what life was once like "below stairs".
Step into a space that seamlessly combines the character of the past with the comforts of today. "The Quarters" retains its historic allure with exposed sandstone walls, original paint work and wiring while incorporating modern design elements for your convenience.
Unwind in the open plan living and kitchen area, adorned with tasteful furnishings and a Smart TV for your entertainment. The original cast iron stove and coal chute remain in place, fitted with a modern Smeg induction cook top.
Retreat to the inviting bedroom, furnished with a queen-sized bed and luxurious linens to ensure a restful night's sleep.
