Madison Lakehouse – Spectacular Sunsets, Triple Lot.

Welcome to The Madison Lakehouse, one of the best vacation rentals on Lake Erie!

This is a fully furnished 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath Spanish style home located on a unique triple lot with over 200 feet of lakefront property. The large property provides mature natural landscaping, tremendous privacy, and breathtaking lake views and sunsets!

The house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy the perfect lake vacation. The large kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and all the equipment you could want to cook the perfect meal. The living room features a gas fireplace, 55-inch Smart TV with surround sound, and 2 sofas including 1 queen sleeper bed. The dining room seats 10 and boasts a perfect view of the lake through its large picture windows.

There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor; including the Master bedroom, one guest bedroom and “Dorm” room. The Master bedroom has a king bed, TV, desk and large walk-in closet. The second upstairs guest bedroom has a queen bed with dresser conveniently located next to the 2nd floor full bath. The “Dorm” room has 3 full beds each with a twin trundle bed below and a TV with DVD player. Additionally, there is a first floor guest bedroom which has a queen size bed and is conveniently located next to the large first floor full bath featuring a stall shower, ceramic tile floor and granite countertop.

Enjoy the magnificent Lake Erie sunsets from the yard or the sun deck by the lake! There is plenty of outdoor seating (both dining and leisure), a propane gas grill and lots of yard space for any outdoor activities or games. The large private yard is great for entertaining, relaxing or enjoying picturesque views of the lake.

The house is within walking distance to Madison Township Park which includes a public beach, boat launch, full outdoor basketball court, sand volleyball court, children’s playground, ice cream shop and several restaurants and bars. There are also several local Wineries in the area including Debonne, Grand River Cellars, Ferrante and Laurentia to name a few plus 3 breweries and 18 covered bridges. You will also find Geneva State Park (with incredible beach) and Marina with fishing charters, Geneva On the Lake (Ohio's oldest resort town), restaurants, shopping, zip line course, escape room and golf courses all within a 15-minute drive.

Madison is just a little under an hour drive to downtown Cleveland with all the sporting events, Museums, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Science Center, etc.

Family getaway

The home was perfect for our family trip. It was more than we could have asked for and nicer than the pictures show. It had everything we needed and more for a relaxing time. We enjoyed the beauty of the lake as well as lighthouses, fishing, and covered bridges nearby.

Our family came for the weekend. The house was exactly as described and pictured. Very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard as well as sitting on the deck down by the water. We would highly recommend this home!

The property was the perfect spot for our reunion having grown up, at least some of our youth, just around the block. Our days were spent at the beach and the park and the memories of that couldn't be better. Thanks for a great time with family.

Thanksgiving to Remember

Our family came up to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house is stunning and it is so well equipped in the kitchen, that we didn’t need half the things that we brought. The cleanliness is outstanding! My 88-year-old mother said it was the best Thanksgiving she ever had and we hope to come back next year! Thank you so much!

Pittsburgh Girls' Weekend

WE LOVED THIS HOUSE! Simply beautiful inside and out. Very comfortable and well stocked. Best kitchen ever! Beds were comfy and cozy. The huge dining room was perfect for the 6 of us to play cards and games. Luckily we were able to enjoy the awesome dock even in late October and early November. We can only imagine how great it must be on a summer's evening. Will definitely like to stay again.

Amazing Stay!

This property is amazing! The house is loaded with all the extras. Kitchen cabinets stocked with everything you could need. Plenty of both beach and bathroom towels. The beds are very comfortable. The property is impeccable. You can tell the host put thought into every aspect of your visit. The views of Lake Erie are amazing. The neighbor hood is fantastic. We will be back!!

Amazing property!!!

Girls weekend for 7 from OH, FL & GA. The property, location & view were AMAZING!!! Very, very clean, well stocked with everything you could ever need. All in the group agreed one of the best places any of us have ever stayed at. Inside and outside lacked nothing. Hope to get back to this one again in the future.

Beautiful home and what a view!

Thank you for sharing this family home with our family. It was the perfect place to spend a quiet long weekend just being together. The house is perfectly set up for lake days while still elegant enough to have all the comforts you want when you are no longer 25. The downstairs bedroom/bath was perfect for an ailing brother.

Perfect

Even before the stay, communication with the owner helped us know what to expect. When we arrived, check-in could not have been easier. The property itself is beautifully maintained, perfectly situated, and well stocked with the necessities you need during your stay. Our family gathered here to watch the total eclipse, and had the magical experience of watching it from the lakeside deck/dock. We will never forget the eclipse, nor how lucky we were to stay at this rental.

Best vacation rental we have ever stayed in!

Clean, spacious, generously equipped, cozy, spectacular view…those are just a few ways to describe this property. My sisters and I have stayed in many places over the years that were nice, but this lake house out does them all. We all very much also appreciated the well appointed and maintained yard and the deck down by the water. We all decided that this is THE place that we want to return to for local vacations in the future. Thanks to both Pete and Laura for everything. Your property is truly wonderful.

Fantastic Stay!

Our girls' weekend at this lakefront property exceeded all expectations! The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials you would have in your own house. There were two good-sized sitting areas, one with a gas fireplace and the other overlooking the lake, perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or a quiet evening after a day of exploring. The location was ideal—walking distance to a winery, park, and other local establishments, but yet in a very peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, making the entire process hassle-free. We particularly loved the outdoor space and the multiple seating areas. There was a large patio set, oversized picnic table, and multiple lounge chairs. Steps down took you to an elevated deck on the water with another set of chairs and lounge chairs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and well-maintained place to stay. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

As advertised - a great family vacation spot!

Everything was exactly as advertised ("a perfect family get-away"), maybe even better! We fell in love with the property as soon as we arrived and walked around (the view is gorgeous!), and both the property and the house provided plenty of space and accessories for our three families (5 adults, 3 children ages 6-11) to relax, share meals together, listen to music, play games, etc. Plenty of fun things to do on the grounds and nearby, including both a local and state park, amusements in nearby Geneva-on-the-Lake, bike trails and a day trip to Cleveland to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Also very close to practical things like grocery stores, etc. This was our first-ever vacation together with my family and my sister's family (from Wisconsin) gathering with our mom (from Georgia) to celebrate her 70th birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. Laurie was great to work with along the way, and we were impressed by the attention to detail in the house - just about everything you could imagine needing for the week, including a well-stocked kitchen (even corn holders)! We had such a great time that we're planning to go back again - maybe next summer! One minor suggestion/note of caution: We definitely recommend some kind of water shoe when swimming right off the property; we ran into a few stray pieces of rebar sticking out underwater. No harm done but better not to be barefoot.

My siblings & I all grew up enjoying lake living. We rent the home out to share our love of the lake with our extended family and guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our parents rented homes in Geneva and Madison. Our father also vacationed in the Madison area with his family growing up. We rented the home 2 doors down when our mother walked the shoreline and fell in love with the spanish style home on this huge lot. A few years later our parents purchased the home.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Sitting on three lots, this home has a very large yard with an incredible view of the lake. The home also sits on a hill so you are elevated over the lake which makes watching the water and the sunsets really amazing. The spanish style home with white stucco walls and red tile roof are very unique. The home is also very close to a boat ramp at Madison Township Park which makes launching boats and jet skis very convenient. The home is also close to Geneva with a Marina, beach, restaurants and plenty of fun attractions.

The inside of the home was completed renovated in 2010 providing a modern and very comfortable home for year round enjoyment.
