I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful this property was. It was immaculately clean. Well many listings state that the owner has thought of every detail, this Owner actually did. There is nothing that we possibly could have wanted that was not available in our home. Chris And Melissa were quick to respond to questions and gracious in every possible way. Having stayed in many VRBO‘s over the years, I can say that this was by far the cleanest and most thoughtfully stocked of anywhere I have been. Anyone who stays here is lucky. They made us feel like welcome friends rather than renters.

2025 vacation

Check in was seamless! We had all of the necessary information two days ahead of time. Chris and Melissa were invested in providing a relaxing and amazing trip! The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, spices, and necessities. They thought of everything! We highly recommend this property. Two families and young adults had plenty of places to relax, dine and sleep.

Great place to stay

We had a great time in ocean view DE. The house was great, by far the cleanest we’ve ever stayed at. The location was excellent, only a short ride to the beach and shops. We also enjoyed the development, taking walks and bike rides and going to the pool a few times. Both the host and property manager were excellent communicators and always made sure everything was to our liking. Overall highly recommended and will definitely be back!

The property was as advertised. Everything was there that you would need for a wonderful vacation, beach chairs umbrellas toys and the bike were used alot. The house is impeccable you can tell Chis and Melissa care about there guest! We had a awesome time.

Amazing

This was a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. Melissa and Chris were the perfect hosts. They thought of everything needed for a spectacular beach vacation. We didn’t need to buy or rent anything for the beach. They included all the chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers and toys. The house had so many amenities. I can’t even list them all. But they were even kind enough to provide the laundry detergent and bounce! We spent so much time on their back patio and grilled out a few times as well. We also loved the bikes that were also included. Overall,, we rated this property a 10++++. Will definitely go back next year.

Family Getaway "40th anniversary"

This house was amazing. It was very accommodating and played a huge role for a successful Family gathering. On scale of 1 to 10 I'll rate it a 12!! Communication with Chris was extremely easy and very efficient. Because of the many extras such as Bikes, Beach chairs, Pool accessories, and a fully equipped kitchen. Ocean View Family Vacation

“Slice of Heaven”

Where do I even begin? I can’t possibly say enough good things about my family’s experience renting this property. Their house (we called a little “Slice of Heaven”) was immaculate!!!! We have never stayed at a house, hotel or anywhere for that matter that was as clean and pristine as this house (and believe me
we are picky!) They had so much to share with us too
from beach chairs, coolers, bikes, beach toys, beach umbrellas and the list goes on! We hit the jackpot when we found this house and were so sad when we had to leave! We have definitely found our new favorite place and hope to rent from them again in the future! They were so accommodating and answered all of our questions and were just amazing to deal with!!!!! Thank you for sharing your “slice of Heaven” with us!

Exceeded our expectations!

This home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable and the owners made us feel right at home with a thoughtful gift basket. The house is very well-equipped and it’s a short drive to the beach, shops, and restaurants. It’s in a pretty community and the health club and pool are great. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful home for a family vacation

We have rented many properties over the years at Bethany Beach from Watermark, Villas at Beach Cove and more. Our first time at Ocean View Beach Club was fantastic. We came with several school aged children in two families. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated with everything you need from plastic ware for the kids, bikes, beach gear, towels, table soccer, Disney Plus and Netflix subscriptions, and board games. The furniture is beautiful and comfortable. There is a digital lock (no keys needed) and linens provided, making packing so much easier. There is also a backyard patio with semi-shaded seating area and powerful infrared gas grill. The owners are delightful, flexible and attentive. There is a mid sized community pool and excellent fitness center with dumbbells, treadmills, stationary bikes and weight machines. The pool is shallow and not suitable for lap swim but perfect for playing and lounging. There was not enough chairs and umbrellas though. Access required an additional $30 per person per week. They required a paper wrist band to wear for the whole week. Few wanted to wear them the whole week (while sleeping, at the beach or at sports) and the front desk was unforgiving about lost or torn wristbands. It’s unclear why you cannot simply use your Drivers License or other ID since they take your information when you pay the access fee. Also, payment is electronically tracked. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We plan on coming back.

Best Stay We've Ever Had

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. I was ready to write a glowing review BEFORE we even stayed! The communication with Chris and Melissa cannot be beat. They were so helpful with all the information regarding the rental but also with fun things to do - they even emailed us mid-trip because they remembered a bike ride to a kayak rental that they thought we'd enjoy. And we did! It was clean, and the bed was so comfortable I asked what it was because we need to buy a new bed and this was the best mattress we've slept on in a while. They had so many games and books - when we got home we had to buy a board game that they have because our 3 year old loved it so much. I have never felt so taken care of and felt so happy in a home rental than I did in this one. We're already planning our stay for next year. Thank you Chris and Melissa!!!

Beautiful week in Bethany!

We had an absolutely fabulous week at Chris & Melissa’s home. They are such lovely and accommodating hosts whose generosity and thoughtfulness made our experience exceptional. The house is beautiful, phenomenally equipped and every single possible detail had been considered to make our stay above and beyond expectation. From bikes to beach gear and towels, from a beautifully stocked kitchen to thoughtful touches (gift basket and wine) every possible detail has been thoughtful. We loved every minute of our week and can’t wait to book our return stay(s) at this beautiful home.

Most Amazing Vacation Home

We had every amenity you could ask for. The home was like out of a magazine but still felt inviting. The hosts were unbelievably helpful and made our vacation very easy. We were able to go to the beach and kayak among many other things. It was the best vacation we have ever had! Thank you to our host and hostess. We love them and thank you VRBO!!!

Amazing vacation with amazing hosts

Before arrival the hosts went out of their way to accommodate us by purchasing a crib putting in outlet covers and having every amenity possible for kids, adults, and to have a fun time. The house is stunningly decorated, very clean, and well organized. Anything that I could have possibly needed/wanted was there and with plenty to spare. From towels to chairs to umbrellas bikes cooler and games! First class all the way! Can't wait to come back!

Amazing

This property was Amazing! We vacationed in Ocean City, MD for over 20 years and thought we would give Bethany a try. We found this home to be the nicest place we have ever stayed in. We could have just packed our clothes.....they provided everything except food. Beach chairs, boogie boards, bicycles, beach umbrella, beach towels were all provided. the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. There were 9 in our family and we all had plenty of room...very spacious. The house was spotlessly clean, which was very important to me. Check in was very easy, and the owners were fabulous to work with! When we arrived there was a welcome basket waiting for us, filled with essentials such as body wash, sunscreen, aloe vera gel, after sun lotion, hand sanitizer, first aid kit, and a bottle of wine. I really can't say enough good things about this home! I would highly recommend this property!

The owners of this beautiful vacation home thought of everything. Beautifully designed for large groups, provided everything you could need for a week at the beach. After years of renting beach homes, we finally found the best one ever! Amenities galore, travel light!
