Step into our contemporary beachside guest cottage, crafted with passion by your hosts, Kyle and Erin (nice to e-meet you!). Devoting over a year to perfecting this Airbnb, we've curated a space that embodies everything we'd desire in a getaway. Ideal for couples or small groups of friends, our cottage promises a modern and inviting retreat at the beach.

Discover the refreshing ambiance of our cottage—where modernity meets beach vibes in a minimalistic setting. Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by majestic live oak trees, we're located less than a mile from the beach and a stroll away from captivating soundfront sunsets. Immerse yourself in the local experience during your stay in this charming and welcoming neighborhood.

The first floor boasts an inviting open-concept living area featuring a pull-out queen sofa, a well-equipped kitchen, and a convenient bathroom. Ascend the stairs to find a cozy king bed and a half bath, complete with blackout curtains ensuring a restful sleep and optimal privacy. Please note that our family's residence is also on the premises, accompanied by two affectionate labs (and occasionally, two loving children).

Parking is available for up to two cars, and we extend an invitation to our guests to enjoy access to our saltwater pool. Additional amenities include:

Great place for a get-a-way!!

We loved this little place. We had a tv upstairs to use and our 16 year old slept on the roll away and had her own tv downstairs. We will be returning. Never once heard or saw a peep from the host. Super quiet place. Very relaxing and close to everything!!

The house was just perfect. We were so glad to have found a small house with everything we needed, since we came as a little family of 4 (2 adults, 3-year-old and 10-month-old). The kids loved, LOVED the pool and we adults appreciated the cleanliness, amenities and all the wonderful extra details Kyle an Erin provided to make us feel welcome. Would definitely go back again!

Best Beach Cottage

This beach cottage is absolutely beautiful and something you would see in a magazine. The owners are so wonderful and make you feel very welcome as well as help with any questions you may have. This was the perfect space for my small family (husband and two younger children) The pool was well used and a very relaxing spot to hang out. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!

Highly Recommend Staying Here

My sister and I stayed 4 nights at Erin & Kyle’s VRBO. It was clean and beautifully decorated. We shared the king bed, but there was also a pull out couch in the same room. We prepared our breakfasts there and they had a Keurig coffee maker. The owners had conveniences like ice packs, coolers and beach chairs for us and we even had a scale available in the bathroom. My cell phone’s GPS did not work and after driving around for over an hour from Manteo, Our host, Kyle, was kind enough to drive to our location and help us find our way back. Both Kyle and Erin are very nice people and if we ever visit the Outer Banks, we would love to stay there again.

Perfect Accommodations!

I can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s clear that Kyle and Erin put a lot of thought into not only the design of the cottage, but of what guests might need to make it a great stay. The cottage was clean, warm, and inviting. It was the perfect size for the two of us on this trip. The location is outstanding as well. Super easy to get to the beach, restaurants, or to take advantage of the walk/bike path by the sound. We were able to use the pool to relax during the day and then sit outside each night. Kyle and Erin were quick to respond to any messages we had. Thanks to both of you for creating this space and letting us enjoy it.

Incredible Stay! Wonderful People!

We had a beautiful week staying in this wonderfully located, clean and thoughtful home. We enjoyed spending mornings in the pool and afternoons at the beach. It was easy access to the beach, restaurants, mini golf and ice cream, everything our 7 year old could want! Thank you so much for a relaxing stay, we couldn’t ask for better hosts.

OBX Retreat

WOW! The cottage was even better than described, close to everything but secluded in a lovely residential area (quiet!) between the ocean and within walking distance of beautiful Kitty Hawk Bay. Hosts Kyle & Erin have created the perfect retreat! Our weather was not the best, but that didn't stop us from doing some major exploring and dining with many wonderful suggestions from our hosts. Returning to this sweet cottage is definitely a plan for the future. Thanks so much, Kyle & Erin for being such gracious, relaxed and welcoming hosts!

Weekend getaway

Rental was well-equipped, comfortable, and clean. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick. Close to plenty of restaurants and the beach, but not necessarily walkable. Still, would not consider that a negative because it’s in a nicer area. You would not be disappointed staying here. We plan on coming back!

Amazing little house in the Outer Banks

This was an amazing house in the outer banks. Was perfect for 3 adults (one couple and a friend): beautiful upstairs bedroom and bath, and a downstairs pull out sofabed which would have also been big enough for a couple. Loved being a 10 minute walk from the beach, and then coming back and having access to the pool - even though it's not heated, it was plenty warm on Labor Day weekend. All in all, the place isn't giant, but it was beautiful and cozy - clean, well renovated, and perfect for a fun time in the outer banks. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!

Great stay!

Thanks so much to Kyle and Erin for a great stay! The place was very clean, decorated nicely, and the perfect size for ourselves and our two small kids for our family getaway. They provided linens, bath towels, bath soap/shampoo, beach supplies (chairs, cooler, towels), and a welcome bottle of wine! Located close to public beach access and restaurants. The welcome packet was very helpful and we took a few of their restaurant and activity recommendations, which were great. Hosts replied quickly to our questions prior to the trip. Although located right next to the main house, it was still very quiet and felt private. Used the pool as well which our kids loved. Highly recommend!
