Beautifully furnished condo just minutes from all things Winter Park. This unit was decorated to provide the warmth and coziness of home while still allowing plenty of room for entertaining family and friends alike. Walking distance to many areas and activities: Hideaway Park (amphitheater, playground, fire pit, skate park, sledding), biking/hiking trails, all types of restaurants/shops, and access to The Lift (free public bus to Winter Park resort - 10 min ride). You'll sleep peacefully knowing adventure awaits you when you wake up.

PLEASE NOTE: NO ANIMALS of any kind are allowed. The property is allergy free due to owner's family being allergic to animal hair, dander, feathers and the like. This poses a severe health hazard to host's family members and therefore there are no exceptions to this rule. You will not be allowed to check in, your reservation will be canceled and a $200 deep cleaning fee will be assessed.

PLEASE NOTE: As of Oct 2021, there is a new development "ROAM" that is being built near Trailhead Lodges. Our building is one that is NOT located directly next to the construction, but construction noise can be heard during daytime hours. This would affect all buildings in trailhead lodges and other neighboring communities. You can view where ROAM is being built in relation to our complex and building by going to "ROAM" winter park CO and looking at the map.

This condo complex has everything you need to have a wonderful Winter Park vacation. Quick access to "The Lift", the local Winter Park public transit that provides an easy 10 min ride to the resort from our stop (about 3 miles) or spots throughout the town. Bikers have quick access to trails that start just yards from the unit. Not interested in skiing or biking? Not to worry! The trails that start right behind the unit wind through the beautiful, peaceful Fraser river for hours of hiking fun. The amphitheater in front of the complex offers music festivals, movies and more. See below for specific details on this amazing rental!

THE COMPLEX

- An elevator is available for use to get the third floor, right outside our door. No need for stairs!

- Heated outdoor pool.

- Club-house offering an exercise room, pool table, outdoor grills and fire pit.

- Lastly, end the day in the large jacuzzi at the club house.

THE UNIT

Radiant floor heating provides a soothing warmth to your feet while walking around in the unit. Hang up your jacket and kick off your shoes, then head down the hallway to an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area. In the kitchen/dining area, you will find a beautiful large table with ample room to sit and have a family meal or play a game. Adjacent to the table are three comfortable counter stools to sit and chat with those in the kitchen. The gourmet kitchen is sure to please even the fanciest of chefs, built with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and electric smooth top range, this kitchen has it all. It is fully stocked with a knife set, dinnerware for 12, most common appliances, and a complimentary set of spices and oils to whip up the perfect dish.

The living room has a large cozy couch, a smaller queen pull out leather couch, and a leather oversized chair all with ample blankets to curl up by the gas fireplace to watch your favorite shows. You wont miss a beat watching shows or movies on the large tv equipped with cable and apple tv or simply pull out your favorite book and relax and enjoy the views on the deck while listening to the soothing sounds of the Fraser river. The condo is also equipped with Bluetooth speakers for listening to music at your leisure.

The master suite features a comfortable king bed, dresser with plenty of storage, and an en-suite bathroom. There is also an oversized closet with more than enough room to store items as needed. The guest room has a loft XL twin bed above a queen bed and has amazing views of the river and mountains. The room also features a pull-out twin couch to accommodate up to 4 people. All bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers and both bedrooms have 45" flat screen TVs with cable. A pack n' play is provided in the master closet for those traveling with little ones as well as booster seat and high chair.

The guest room has a queen bed and an oversized full bunk above the queen. It is also equipped with a nice lounge seat that can be utilized as a pull out twin as needed. There is a dresser that can be used to store all your belongings or the closet has ample storage space as well.

When your deciding on your dinner plans, and eating out just doesn't seem fitting, don't forget to wonder over to the club house where there is ample indoor seating and outdoor seating. Two gas grills are available for use by all guests and they overlook the pool area. If a workout is needed, there is a small fitness center for a good workout. Or just walk across the street and let the kids run wild at the hideaway park where there are climbing walls, firepit, skate park, and children's park for endless fun.

LOCATION

From world-class Skiing and Mountain biking, to hiking and fishing, the Winter Park area has it all. There is also the Grand Park Rec Center just a short drive from the unit that has an indoor pool/water slide, hot tubs, rock climbing, full gym, and indoor track. Just a short drive away from the Trailhead Lodges, one can find endless hiking/biking trails, horseback riding, even dog sled and horse-drawn carriage activities can be found. Grand lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are around an hour away for incredible day trips. One doesn't have to travel far from the unit to enjoy great food, local coffee, and craft beers. Winter Park was the first "big mountain" ski area I visited as a child from the Midwest and has held a nostalgic place in my heart ever since. Because we frequent Winter Park, we want this home to be as inviting as possible and hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we love going there. As such, please respect our home and adhere to the strict no smoking rule in the unit or the condo as well as the other house rules including no pets.

A warm & comfortable visit, gorgeous views and spacious condo
We loved everything about this condo - super spacious, awesome living room/fireplace, gorgeous views, amazing kitchen. Even heated floors in the bathrooms! Our one sad thing was that the hot tub was broken the whole time and there was just the outdoor hot tub and pool - which in the summer would be amazing but in the winter meant we didn't really use the club house. For some reason I thought there was an indoor hot tub there but there's not - I think other reviews were talking about the Rec center pool and hot tub, which we ended up going to and was really cool. Overall an amazing trip though and we'd love to stay here again. By the way it's also walking distance to the downtown square- restaurants, bars, Hideaway park brewery, Christy sports, cute coffee places etc. We loved being able to walk over there! Oh and also the hosts were super responsive to all our questions and allowed us to check in early and check out late which was a huge help to us. Their responsiveness was reassuring and made it a wonderful stay.

Were loved the view from the balcony. The place was very clean and well stocked. The hosts were great communicators and have really thought of many things to make the stay comfortable and convenient. It is a great location for walking to restaurants and taking the shuttle. We will definitely rent here again. Thank you for a magical stay

Winter adventure
This is a beautiful property in a great location. We went snowshoeing and cross country skiing right out the back entrance of the building. We also went on a sleigh ride, snowmobiling and downhill skiing. When we had an issue upon check in it was addressed to our satisfaction very quickly.

Having grown up in the midwest and never left there through college, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone to the mountains of Utah for graduate school. Ever since then, I have been trying to move back to the mountains. I finally had this opportunity to do so several years back. Once here I have continued my love of all things outdoors including mountain and road biking, rock climbing, skiing, and hiking. Winter Park was one of my earliest memories of Colorado and when my wife and I moved there, we visited Winter Park for a quick weekend escape and two months later had a down payment on our place. This is our home away from home and Winter Park is likely our favorite of the mountain resorts due to its location, fun town, and incredible winter and summer activities.

My wife grew up in the east coast having been born in Quebec. She is an accomplished classical pianist and also enjoys hiking and enjoying the mountain air. Together we have children that we are encouraging to enjoy the mountains and all they have to offer. From hiking/biking to walks with our cattle dog, the family loves our trips to Winter Park. We truly hope you will enjoy the unit and all that Winter Park has to offer.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It was not long after we booked a quick weekend getaway that we ended up purchasing this unit. We were drawn to its proximity to much of the downtown shops and restaurants as well as the ease of getting around. We also love the fact that this unit was a bit removed from US-40 but still close enough to allow easy access. There is the fireside market that is right next door for when there are items that have been forgotten. We also love the ease of going from our unit to the large jacuzzi and not having to walk outside to get there. Lastly we were drawn to the heated underground parking garage that makes it easy to get in the vehicle when we have the epic snow days.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This complex built in mid 2000's is one of the only complexes in WP that has a pool. This pool is heated year round and is accompanied by a hot tub as well. The complex also has a centrally located rec center that has tons of open indoor and outdoor seating, a fitness center, and two gas grills for use of guests. It is also located only a few short blocks from the Hideaway Park: home to winter sledding/playing, summer Thursday night concert series, and blues fest. You won't be disappointed with the top floor private balcony views of the Fraser River and mountains. if you are lucky you may just see the "neighbors" who share our back yard views by the river as the area is often frequented by moose.
