Great location and comfy pillows

This condo is walkable to all that downtown Blowing Rock has to offer. The living space is a very generous size, and there is living room seating for 4-5 people, which is nice. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows on the beds were so much better than what you usually find at a rental property. My neck was thankful! Don't hesitate to book.

This is by far the best place I have stayed in the Blowing Rock area. Everything we needed was there. Having a covered parking area was a major asset as you were within walking distance of everything in town but if you had to drive you knew you were not going to have to try to find a parking space when you returned. The owners were very responsive to all emails. I would highly recommend Main and Pine for your next visit to Blowing Rock. Gloria Miller I

Great location

The apartment was clean, modern, and spacious. Parking was easy and it was right in the middle of town which was perfect and walkable to many restaurants and cute shops. We stayed over the weekend and the bar next door was a bit noisy until 2 am. Some people may be bothered by that so I think it deserves mentioning. We didn’t mind and it was an easy to over look because we enjoyed being so close to all the attractions in town. Check in and out could not have been more simple. We had a great time. Thanks!

Perfect Condo, Great Location

The moment we walked into the condo, we all said "wow!" The high ceilings and open floor plan make it seem much larger and spacious than it is and the decor was lovely. The property is super well appointed - we were constantly impressed with what was provided and the quality of everything in the condo. We had everything we needed and more. The location was fantastic - we went for a family ski trip, only 10 minutes from Appalachian Ski Resort and it was great having the town just downstairs. So many great restaurants within walking distance! Owners were extremely helpful and communication was great. We asked to extend our stay by one day because of bad weather and it was all taken care of within minutes. We will definitely be staying at Main & Pine again on our next trip to Blowing Rock!

Loved the location!!!

We had a great experience in this property. First off, we found the owners to be responsive, something you can’t take for granted! The unit is light and bright, everything is new. The kitchen was well equipped should you decide to cook (we didn’t), there was a stacked washer/dryer, the bedrooms had great storage in the large dressers. There are no bedroom closets, however a bar is provided to hang your clothes. Beds and seating were comfortable. Plenty of towels were available for our use. There were three tv’s, all connected to cable, should you prefer not to stream. For us, the best part was the in-town location. Just steps out the door to all the shops and eateries in historic Blowing Rock. The trailhead to Glen Marie Falls is a short walk down the road. There is a community park about two blocks away with playground equipment, tennis, and basketball. In the mornings, pickleball nets were set up and there was open play. Boone is a short drive away. There is a parking garage underneath the condo for convenient parking. The biggest con on the property is probably the noise in the early morning from the trucks delivering to the tavern across the street. But the upside to having the tavern nearby is that you can sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the live music in the early evenings. One suggestion for improvement would be to put up window treatments in the living area so there is privacy at night. Would recommend the Dogwood highly, and we hope to return next time we are in the area.

We had a great time staying in this lovely unit. It was comfortable, beautiful and had all the things we needed. Being right in downtown Blowing Rock was so convenient - steps from great restaurants and shops. Steve was very responsive and made made the process so easy. Big thumbs up for unit.

Absolutely wonderful space that is in the heart of Blowing Rock making an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the Glen Burnie Trail that starts right there in the town and is a great trail. I'd rate this rental an A+ !

A Lovely Convenience

We were impressed with the “sophistication” of the unit. So well equipped with quality goods and everything was very comfortable. We did no cooking, but easily could have. Loved the convenience to town
.walked to most venues. We have been to BR many times and always stayed at Cheetola. This was a great alternative in which our pup could participate. Wonderful surprise and stay. Would certainly do so again!

Beautiful condo in the heart of Blowing Rock

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and it is honestly one of the nicest VRBOs I have stayed in. The beds are comfortable, the location is close to everything nice in the town, fully stocked kitchen, nice furniture, and the communication with the manager was great. They are very kind and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and also stay there again. Thank you!

Wonderful Blowing Rock Property

What a wonderful time my husband and I had at Dogwood celebrating our 30th anniversary.Very clean and beautifully decorated and the location just can’t be beat. The weather was warm the first two days so we enjoyed the deck then it turned cold and snowed a little and we enjoyed the gas logs, the best of both worlds.We appreciated the snacks and bubbly also. We hope to return in the near future!

The property is beautiful! The finishes are top of the line. The property is close to everything Blowing Rock has to offer! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook a few meals but you are also steps away from great restaurants! We will definitely be back!
