Good sized property for our party of 14 (6 adults and 8 children), clean easy to check in, isabelle the owner is very friendly and responsive, easy 15 minute drive to huez village to park and get gondola (even in snow). We have stayed many times in the alps in winter, this represents a very good choice for the size of our group,
Thanks
Aangename & rustig gelegen vakantiewoning met alle comfort. Uitgebreide keuken.
Property came as advertized and is in a great location for cyclists. Peaceful location, spacious, we would rent it again. We were a bit disappointed to have to pay for sheets and towels, but it was advertized.
Top ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in sehr gĂŒnstiger Lage!
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gepflegt.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.
Beautiful spacious, tastefully renovated property with modern facilities in a beautiful location.
We are three families accompanied by younger children who enjoyed a fantastic week in the property. It is wonderful as the photographs show! Plenty of space, modern interior, power showers and lots of hot water. It is on the doorstep of a large supermarket and only a scenic15-20 minute drive to the main skiing areas of Alpe d'Heuz and Les Deux Alpes. We skied both. We loved being at the very top of the glacier at Les Deux Alpes and skiing the long black Sarenne in Alpe D'Heuz which also has great accessible beginners slopes close to the town. We ate in all week except Friday when we went to a great lively restaurant in Le Bourg-d'Oisans. Enjoyed relaxing in the wonderful house and playing pool in the lounge which also has a flat screen TV and a sauna! One recommendation we would make (especially for non Euro zone visitors), would be to look at alternative ways of taking the security deposit as receiving 800 euros back at the end of the stay is not suitable for all. A credit card as security might be an option. We also decided to clean the property ourselves and save 180 Euro and with a large group is not too difficult. Melanie gave us a great welcome and lots of information and was a lovely person to deal with. Hope we can return to this beautiful location and accommodation one day. Thank you. Reid, Brown and Locke family from Scotland and Ireland.
Our 2 families, consisting of 11 adults and 2 babies of 6 and 8 months old, thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to beautiful Bourg D'Oisans.
The chalet was spacious and comfortable and the open plan kitchen and dining area was very well equipped for our needs. The layout of the house offers excellent social spaces inside and out.
We all embraced a mixture of cycling, canoeing, walking, golfing and swimming and the garden and surrounding grounds offered us space for a Boules tournament and other games.
The local Casino supermarket stocks a comprehensive selection of goods and is so handy being so near to the chalet. The town centre is a few minutes walk away with plenty bars and restaurants to choose from and a pretty little river runs through it. Surrounding areas are beautiful enhanced by the stunning backdrop of the Mountains.
Communications with the owners were very good and we would be happy to recommend this chalet to others looking for varied activities in a extremely relaxed environment. đ
We are a cycle club, looking for a centrally located house to discover the many iconic climbs in the Alps and this house DIDNOT disappoint, fantastic. Large modern furnished house which was well equipped for all our needs. Excellent parking facilities for our bikes in a safe and secure environment. House is next to a large supermarket and a 2 minute walk from the town for all your needs such as bike shops, restaurants, bars and amenities. Best of all is the location to all the wonderful alpine climbs in the area, especially as it is at the foot of Alp D'Huez. If you are looking for a base to discover the Alps then this house is perfect. Would recommend 100%, so much so we will be returning next year.
The house is recently renovated with lots of equipment, especially in the kitchen, if you like to cook. We were with 5 children, age 10 months to 11 years, they had a blast. There is separate room for entertainment, TV, DVD, pool table, sauna. Parking lots for three cars in the front. A supermarket - 'Casino' on the next street, 500 meters, it's really convenient. You can take the shopping cart right to the house. In the supermarket parking lot there is a gas station, with frequent price reductions, basically the whole town lines up to refill. Besides the house, there is a small stream with ducks in it. It should be lovely in the spring/summer. Ski areas: Alpe D'Huez is really good, with lots of beginners areas in the front, and long black runs for advanced skiers. Really well thought ski area, well designed. Can't say the same thing about Les 2 Alpes - steep black runs at the start of the area, not suitable at all. If you want to blue/red ones you need to climb to 2,500+, weather not permitting all the time. We spend only one day there, the rest we we're are at Alpe D'Huez - highly recommended.
