Making sure we didn't have any concerns or needs during our stay. The area was under alot of construction and development so some difficulty with getting in and out of property. Finding places close by to eat was somewhat challenging so we cooked at house more then normal but did not change how much we enjoyed our stay. If prices continue to stay reasonable we will look for home from Royal destinations next year! Thank you!

It was spacious and the beds and linens were amazing and everyone talked about how great they slept! We loved having the bikes and beach supplies as well as the extra beach towels. There were some bugs in the carriage house and we noticed a spot on the ceiling that needed repair...it was coming apart! The window sills all had a mildew covering on the bottom of them and needed deep cleaning. The screened in porch needed a deep cleaning as well. Out side of the windows and porch, the house was sparking and the girls all had the best time and loved staying there! We noticed an SUV in the garage! Should consider renting it out with Turo to the houseguests for an added fee! We would have used it for sure! Great house and loved being there!

This beautiful home at the end of a quiet street was absolutely perfect for our stay. The carriage house and bunk room slept the 8 kids perfectly, and each adult couple had ample space to relax and enjoy. The kids had a blast in the pool, and the parents loved hanging out on the HUGE covered deck! The home itself is just beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved using the bikes to ride into town, and beach access was a short and easy 5-7 minute walk (one street to cross). Maybe the best part of all was the customer service from Royal Destinations. Taylor in particular was absolutely incredible to work with. She was quick to answer my every question leading up to, during, and even after our visit. I could hear her kindness even through her emails. Thank you, Taylor!! 10/10, 5 ⭐, 💯 recommend 172 A Street!

Large Beautiful Beach Home

Reviewer Comments: This our 3rd time renting through Royal Destinations and once again, they did not disappoint!This beach home was located at the end of a culdesac directly across from 30A and was a very short walk to the beach (5 minutes)! Beach access is literally across the street. It's tricky to see but RD was quick to explain it's location! If you prefer a golf cart then you will need to go to the next closest beach access which is a little more than a 1/2 mile drive! Our party chose the closer option and walked! It was so easy! The house is massive and accommodated our party of 17 easily! There is a huge gourmet kitchen as well as a very large screened in porch just off the the kitchen where you can relax after a day at the beach! There was plenty of sleeping accommodations! The master suite was absolutely gorgeous as well as huge and the king size bed was the best bed I have ever slept on! So comfy! The bunk room was surprisingly spacious and accommodated 3 adult boys easily! Room for 5! So much privacy in this home! I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful house perfect for family gathering

We recently stayed at 172A street for a family reunion of sorts with 16 guests ranging from 14-55 years of age and guests flying in from the northeast and others driving in from closer states. The house was perfect for our mix of teens and adults. Although it states is sleeps more, 16 seemed to be about the perfect number given the number of regular beds. You could get more in but, they would either be doubled up or on fold outs...not an issue for us. The house is relatively new and the finishes inside and out were great. We ran into a few minor issues such as double doors on the Carriage house not closing and ice makers struggling to keep up but, again, these were small issues that we dealt with and didn't impact our stay. The location is great for access to the HUB or Rosemary with easy access to Publix and the bike path. The only small negative with the location is beach access. We all agreed that, although 0.5 miles is not a long distance in absolute terms, it seems like a LONG walk when you are carrying or pulling beach supplies. The bikes were a huge added plus though and if you aren't needing to come back and forth to the house it isn't terrible, with a little planning. It is a bit misleading though to say it's a short distance to the beach. Also, the 2 beach chairs and umbrella were a nice touch. We haven't had other houses include those in the past. Another nice touch is the sonos speakers, those came in handy. All in all a beautiful, very spacious house in a great location, as long as being away from beach access isn't an issue. Management was great as well with constant communication prior to arrival and allowing us to check in early! We would definitely stay again in the future.

AC kept the house nice and cool.Ample seating for dining Very prompt service. (Only had minimal issues anyway)Pool area is comfortable and well maintained .Main floor screened in porch with TV for eating meals, visiting and hanging out. No worries about bugs:) We LOVED this feature ! Especially when it was raining.Master Suite is large and very beautiful with a dual shower and large tub. This area did seem to be less air conditioned than the rest of the house .Beach access area is quite and WAY better than the Seacrest beach area we usually go to. This beach area is so UNcrowded even during a very peak season.Large Kids suite with great hang-out space. Bathroom on this floor should have been built larger . We found the beach access too far to walk. Bike is very doable though . We found parking easily on 30 A when driving there. Same with Rosemary and Seacrest shopping and dining areas . Not too far but not necessarily walkable. Loved the 6 bikes included.I'd HIGHLY recommend a golf cart when staying in this area. It will make the beach trip and shopping much easier and more fun especially with kids.Little kids will love the play house out back.***HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY*** Royal Destinations is a fantastic management company A++ ! They are very responsive and helpful. We've been traveling here for 10 years . Trust me when I say this because most companies don't act like they care about any issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: During our one week stay the house had a number of problems: oven quit working the night before Thanksgiving, septic tank required maintenance by the utility company, disposal was jammed when we arrived, first-floor hot water stopped working at least three times, outdoor fireplace was not working, etc. The house is large and nicely furnished for a rental, and it is a close walk to the beach and bike ride to Alys or Rosemary Beach. However, if you're not willing to spend 1 - 2 hours a day dealing with maintenance issues and serving as a liaison to various contractors who occasionally had different views on a given problem, I would recommend looking for a different house. Royal Destinations was quick to respond to maintenance requests, but we were surprised by the number of issues (both large and small) that kept coming up, as well as the inability to fix basic issues like hot water. We still did not have hot water on the first floor on the day we left. It's not clear if we just had bad luck, or if this is an ongoing problem with the house. For what it's worth, the neighbor, who is a full time resident, told us that that maintenance issues with the house were common.

The pool was great to have on the days that we didn't go to the beach. All of the rooms were beautiful and clean, especially the master bedroom, it's gorgeous. The kitchen makes you want to get in there and create wonderful meals to enjoy. We had all of the amenities we needed. We only had to call customer service once to ask about the pool alarm and they were great. We spent our time relaxing and connecting. It was truly a wonderful experience. I plan to rent this property every year for our family getaways. This is truly a keeper for my portfolio. Thanks Royal Destinations for providing such a beautiful experience.

Over priced and not happy

I have 5 kids and a pool is essential. I paid extra weeks in advance for pool heat couldn’t get it. The point of this house was to swim. Never got in the POOL once!!!! Also check in process pathetic. Zero information-No alarm, WiFi, Sonos, or tv directions. Nice house not worth it at all. Fall hazards on steps in kitchen and stairways. Multiple people almost fell or did. I would hope Vrbo would actually do something about this but I doubt it. I wish I went elsewhere. Last time I use Vrbo if they don’t fight for a credit.

The house does not come with enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, or any salt, pepper and seasonings for cooking, which we did feel was unfortunate. We would have paid a little more per night to have all these items in the home. Oh and don’t forget beach towels!

Amazing house, convenient location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a large group for July 4th and this house was amazing! Super spacious, very clean, well equipped with everything you need, short walk to beach and gorgeous pool. Definitely recommend and will be coming back (hopefully for next July 4th). Short walk or bike ride to Aly’s Beach. The house definitely felt luxurious and was perfect for a much needed vacation!
