Nous vous accueillons dans notre chalet confortable dans les bois. Il est situĂ© Ă  3 km du centre d'accueil de DuPont State Forest et juste en face de Dupont Road depuis REEB Ranch. Nous sommes Ă  8,5 milles de l'entrĂ©e de la forĂȘt nationale de Pisgah. Le Cottage Ă  DuPont est parfait pour un week-end ou un endroit pour se dĂ©tendre aprĂšs avoir parcouru les sentiers. Le chalet est au-dessus de notre garage indĂ©pendant et possĂšde sa propre entrĂ©e privĂ©e. Vous pouvez entendre mon mari ou mes enfants ouvrir une porte de garage mais au-delĂ , la cabine est Ă  vous.

Great, stay!

If you are a Mountainbiker planning to bike Dupont, the location could not be better. Adjacent to Dupont, Brevard is 15-20 minutes drive . The upstairs apartment is perfect for a Single person or a couple. Nice kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living space, very comfortable, plenty of room. wi-fi is excellent. Very clean and comfortable and quiet. Host family lives in adjacent house are wonderful people with beautiful children and a happy dog! Great experience. Highly recommended.

Romantic weekend getaway

Katie was such a great host! Everything was just right for the two of us. The location was absolutely perfect for our agenda. We hiked at Dupont State Forest and ate at some great local spots. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

It was like being in the middle of a peaceful forest!

This above-garage apartment is delightful! It was very clean, comfortable, and convenient to many restaurants and breweries. Every window had a beautiful view of nothing but trees, ferns, mountain laurel, and it was so peaceful. We never saw nor heard the homeowners and they were very gracious to not even park in the garage, despite pouring rain, so we didn’t even hear a garage door. We will definitely stay again when we are visiting family in the area. I highly recommend.

Great secluded location

The property is in a great location just far enough outside of town that you feel like you’re in a private mountainside cottage but still close enough that quick trips aren’t a hassle. The property itself is great and I had no issues. Just be aware that cell service is very spotty and the provided wifi can be slow at times.

Perfect in Every Way

Our plan was to hike and explore the DuPont Recreational Area when we sought out a place to stay the weekend. The location could not be more perfect. It is just a few miles from all of the trailheads for the most prominent waterfalls in DuPont, as well as numerous other trails. This spotless clean, cozy garage apartment is "away from it all" but is about equal distance from Brevard and Hendersonville for those that might want a little more to do in the evenings than just relax in the quiet. It is also an easy drive from the Asheville airport for those that might want to fly in and rent a car. The owners are a delightful young couple who treat you like guests and make your visit so simple.

Everything and more

This cabin was amazing! It had everything you needed it felt like we lived there. My husband kept joking about asking to buy it 😂 it’s in a perfect location with ice cream/hiking a few miles down the road and downtown brevard is about 15 mins from here. The views in and out of town to the cabin are beautiful. I will say one thing that might help some is that this is about 2 hours from the blue ridge parkway. We didn’t book this cabin for that reason but, there’s not direct way to get there when we attempted it. We saw white squirrels and ate at the piscgah fish camp! The hosts are VERY friendly and their cat is so stinkin cute saying hi everyday. All in all if I could give it 100 stars I would 😃

Quiet get away!

This little cottage is a spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated apartment. A quiet place in a secluded area. Perfect for a romantic get away. My wife and I could not have selected a better place to celebrate our 40 wedding anniversary! Thank you Katie for sharing your home with us.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The location is great for Dupont Forest and very close to Pisgah. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The hosts also told us about some great area hikes.

Beautiful setting

Cute little above the garage apartment with a cottage feel. Great location right by all sorts of biking trails and 10 minutes from downtown. Owner is easy to work with. Overall a wonderful experience.

Perfect place for DuPont and Pisgah

Very clean and a perfect location for hiking and biking. Five minutes from DuPont (and Ridgeline!). Fifteen from Pisgah. Close to Brevard and Hendersonville. Not too far from Asheville. Close to apple orchards for fall trips and you can get to the BRP without too much trouble. This will be our first choice for NC trips. Kitchen had everything we needed. Communication was great. A very comfortable and quiet space. Pictures and description are accurate. You could do a lot worse than the cottage. I don’t think you’ll find much better!

My wife wants to buy this cabin

See title. Absolutely amazing location, amenities, and ambience. Love the real hardwood floors and the kitchen was great set up as well. The location to DuPont State Forest was spectacular for mountain biking. My wife and I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future North Carolina trips.

Can’t beat the access to DuPont.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather not cooperating. Perfect access to multiple DuPont parking areas, as well as to Holmes and a new favorite, Jeter Mountain Farm (apples!).

Wonderful small rental

This is a beautiful apt above the garage in a stunning location in NC. Very convenient to DuPont state forest, hiking, mountain biking, etc. Unit is exactly as described and was outfitted well. We will stay again if we're in the area.

Awesome place

This was exactly what I needed. Katie & her family were so friendly & sweet. The cottage was very clean & had everything I needed. It was a very relaxing week. It was close to Dupont Forest where I hiked to several waterfalls. It is an awesome place & I will definitely stay there again when I need to get away.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We are minutes from DuPont State Forest. There is hiking and biking and gorgeous waterfalls at your fingertips. We are also 15 minutes from downtown Brevard and about 20 minutes from downtown Hendersonville. You can explore both towns easily and each have amazing things to offer. Pisgah Forest is 10 minutes from the house and has a grocery store. Ecusta Brewing and Oskar Blues Brewery are also a short distance away.
